I shouted from upstairs “I’ll be fine gosh I’m almost 15”
“Great I am going out with Austin to Rosa’s Resturant” my mom spoke in the worst Spanish Accent
“You mean the creepy internet guy you only like because of his probably fake profile pic”
With that she slammed the door. I peeked out the window in the door. Her 1992 Toyota Camry’s engine roared as much as a kitten would. I texted my boyfriend Gordon that he was free to come over now.
Gordon
Great I’ll be over right when my mom takes little sis, Karen off my hands.
Me
Kay see you then.
I parked my rear on the coach and brushed pieces of my strawberry blonde hair behind my ears. I looked perfect for a visit from Gordon.

Austin’s P.O.V
“Well hello Senorita Iris” I greeted
“You must be Austin.”
“Correct, I recognized you from your profile picture.”
I walked her to our reserved table on the roof. As I gazed up at the beautiful full moon I realized there was already an awkward silence. I gave her a forced smile before she could return it the waitress came to find out what we’d have to drink.
I then thought, stick to the plan!
“We’ll both have straight tequila”
“Wow Austin I have to drive after this” Iris cut in.
“Come on you only get to this once in a while, why not now?”
“No” she replied “Drinking and driving is illegal”
“I’ll call a cab for you.” I pleaded
Soon enough she gave into me and my charm. Before it came out she went to the bathroom.
Perfect! I thought
I looked around to make sure she wasn’t coming back. I slipped the roofie into her alcohol. A few minutes later she sat back down and her brown eyes stared into brown eyes. Iris took a sip of the tequila. I smile pleased with myself.
“So how’s your daughter?” ………………
