Craig’s P.O.V

What had Gordon just said? He was joking right? Saying things out of spite? But the look on Gordon’s face was a mixture of seriousness and pure evil. His blue eyes were darker than an abyss. He was laughing, but Dawn was crying. Sobbing into her hands. But I was just standing there with a blank expression on my face.

I pushed my fingers through my black hair, and sucked in my first breath since Gordon’s disturbing words. My first thoughts were that I should leave with Dawn and leave Gordon laughing like a mad man. Gordon rose up from his kneeling position and shoved me making me stumble backwards.

“Now you listen Craig, we may be family but I will ruin your life.” Gordon hissed “Dawn is mine!”

“THIS IS NOT YOUR CHOICE GORDON!” I roared.

At that exact moment we both turned to look at Dawn. She had stopped crying and just stared at us.

“Dawn sweetheart who do you want to stay with for now?” I spoke in a soft voice.

Gordon’s P.O.V

We were making Dawn choose. I wasn’t above it and neither was Craig. Dawn shook her head as if she didn’t want to answer.

“Dawn, you can’t just erase our history.” I copied Craig’s soft voice but my voice got louder by the word, “We have gone through too many things for you to even consider Craig!”

Her green eyes looked up at me. She smiled and turned to Craig. She walked towards him embracing him in a hug.

“Gordon, I loved you.” Dawn said sincerely, “Gordon I still love you but the fact is I will never trust you again.”

“But Dawn….” I was cut off my her continuing

“And you’ll just have to deal with me falling in love with your cousin more and more everyday” She smiled and looked up into his eyes, “And I hope Craig and I do work out!”

With that Craig picked Dawn up bridal style and put her into HIS car. When he closed the door he looked back over to me and gave me the middle finger. He jumped into the driver’s seat and sped off.

That was the last time I saw Craig and Dawn. I hopped into my car and went as fast as I could on the highway missing a turn and my car went off the road. I went to see my dad. I'd never be a proper father. I'd leave my own daughter to grow up with Craig Frost, my own cousin. The one who drugged me and supplied my father with roofies to drug Iris, Dawn's mom.

It was a happy ending to their love story. But I was still writing my last chapter and something told me to end with a bang.
