Chapter 10 (Navette)

I felt the warm spit hit my face and slide down my left temple. I looked down at the blood staining my shirt which I knew I would get my ass kicked for anyway so I went for broke. I Jumped over Leroi and swun on Ari as hard as I could. When I saw blood flying I knew I had landed a good one.

"Get her off me!!!!!!!!" She screamed as I wailed on her ass. Her friend jumped off the bus leaving her. As all weak bitches do she pulled my hair, but that didn't phase me. I was on top of her. Whump!! Whump!! Whump!! Was the sound everytime I connected.

"Mrs. Price!! Leroi!! Get her off me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Leroi tried to get me off her to no avail so Mrs. Price had to help. She grabbed me up under my arms and dragged me towards the front of the aisle. I could see the damage when Leroi helped Ari stand up. I had  torn out a few tracks which were being passed around as souvenirs and she had a black eye, bloody nose, and a busted lip. There was blood all over her khaki skirt, Jordan heels, and polo shirt.

"You okay girl?" Said Mrs. Price handing me a napkin.

"Yes maam." I said watching Leroi help Ari to a seat.

"That's what you get bitch!!" Said a girl waving around one of Ari's tracks.

"There will be silence as we go to school today or the next ass whooped will be by me!! Go to your seat uh......"

"Navette." I said wiping off my face and going to my seat. I sat down and turned back to look at Leroi cradling Ari in his arms. He didn't care that he had blood and snot all over him. He just held her and dabbed at her cuts with a tissue. The whole bus was quiet for the rest of the ride and when we pulled up to the school Mrs. Price stopped me from getting off.

Hold up lil mama you gotta sit tight cause I gotta write an accident report. I noticed she didn't stop Ari from getting off and she flipped me off when she was safely off the bus and holding hands with Leroi. What a traitor I thought to myself.

"Mrs. Price grabbed a legal pad from behind her seat and turned to me.

"Technically I am supposed to suspend you from the bus for fighting, but that lil heffa started that so I'm just gon pretend like I am taking down a report, that's why I let her off first. Look I know that lil girl, hell I used to mess with her mama that's how I know how triflin she is. They both some hoes."

I nodded my head in agreement even though I didn't know Ari I knew her type. I looked down and saw that Leroi forgot his book bag and debated whether I should get it for him.

"Look I know you probably like Leroi and you mad, but i think he is just trying to be nice since you beat the brakes off his girlfriend."

I didn't buy that for one minute, but I just nodded. I heard Smooth Operator playing and Mrs. Price scrambled to get her phone out of her back pocket.

"This is my boo, you go ahead and go into the school and I'm  gonna tell the principal what happened." She said motioning for me to leave.

I grabbed both back packs and headed into the school.
