Nick circled the gyrocopter above the large kangaroo like creatures below them, which here tearing into the grass and ripping apart sheep.
"Ready?" He asked Nile, who was crouched on the chair beside him. He cocked his gun, nodding. Nick sent the chopper into a swan dive, sailing towards the ground. He pulled up at the last second, and Nile jumped, firing maniacally at the mutants below him. As he hit the grown, Riley launched over a small rise on his motorbike, Chris leaping along beside him. Nick landed the chopper, sprinting across the farm and throwing a grenade into the fray.

The limp bodies of the Spring-Heels flew in all directions, Nile threw himself from the blast, chasing after the creatures. One turned around, leaning back on its tail and kicking him in the chest, sending the man flying. He crashed into the side of the gyrocopter and dropped to the ground.

Chris leapt onto ones back, ripping into its hide with his razor sharp metal teeth. The mutant leg out a howl of pain, dropping to the ground, dead.

After about half an hour, Nick watched the last remaining Spring-heels escape into the distance.
"Should we chase after them?" He asked.

Riley grunted, picking himself up off the ground and flicking the thick, greenish blood off his hand.
"No point. If they don't die from their injuries, then someone else'll take 'em down."
The four slowly regathered their equipment and left for he city again.

The group, dripping with mutant blood, and carrying enough weapons to supply a small army, carried themselves through the city, drawing more attention then they would have liked to. Nick knocked on the door of the truck, which was parked not too far from where they'd left it. Jake opened the door, and looked down at them.
"Did you actually get anything for all the mess you've made of yourselves?" He asked.

Riley grinned. "I think we made a pretty good share."

"Which was."

Nick laughed, slapping his brother on the back. "Two million!"
A grin slowly spread across the drivers face. After a few moments, all of them burst into laughter, and they scrambled back into the truck.

Nick unlocked the door to the two story house they had just bought. It was nestled in a small, otherwise empty street between several office buildings.
He took off his boots, and stepped inside. A he smiled slightly to himself as he walked up a flight of stairs to the main floor.
"Seeing a place like this." He muttered, as Riley entered beside him. "Doesn't it almost feel like nothing's happened?"

Riley smiled, heading towards one of the rooms. "Yeah. I guess it does."
For the first time in what felt like forever, the group treated them selves to warm, running showers, and got changed.

"So what happened to the kids?" Nick asked, sitting down at a table beside Jake.

"No clue." He muttered. "One of them left with you, and the other one vanished. Literally. He was there, and then-" He clicked his fingers. "He wasn't."

Riley sighed, sitting down. "I can find him." He pulled a small device from his pocket.

"You put a tracker on Cheshire?"

Riley looked up at his brother. "You wouldn't, have put a tracker on him?"

Nick nodded. "Good point."
