Sam smiled, “You say that now,”

You huffed and kept on walking, “I say that now and 20 years down the line,”

You heard Sam laugh behind you and you felt his presence next to you, “Will you at least let me walk you to 2nd period?”

You tilted your head to the side and raised your eyebrows, he rolled his head to the side and gave you a grin. You looked forward, “I could think of a million other things I’d rather be doing,”

Sam laughed and stood in front of you, outside of your classroom. You rested against the lockers and watched as he ran his fingers through his hair before going back into the pocket of his jeans, “Your mouth is one of the sexiest things about you,”

Your stomach fluttered and you shook your head, keeping the blush away from creeping up your neck and into your cheeks. “Can you not?” You asked while biting your lip to hide the smile.

Sam laughed and kept his eyes on you, “Whats wrong with giving you a compliment?”

“Everything, so shut up,” You said with a laugh, just as the bell rang.  People filed out of the classroom just as Sam laughed, he stepped towards you and caged you against the lockers.

“Come to my game, Saturday,” He asked while looking down at you.

“You’re so persistent, it’s really annoying.” You answered while forcing a smile on your face.

“So come to my game and to dinner with me afterwards,”

“So now it’s dinner, also?” You exaggerated.

Sam laughed, “Yeah, now it’s dinner,”

You ducked underneath his arm that rested right above your shoulder and headed for your English classroom door, you turned around and shook your head. “It’s never going to happen, so you might as well give up.”

Sam laughed again and shook his head, “You’ll give in,”

            You huffed, “In your dreams.”

You walked into class with the ring of his laugh inside your head, you ignored the confused glares friends Jack Gilinsky and some Morgan girl, they must’ve seem Sam talking with you. This was the reaction you knew would be coming, they didn’t like you and you didn’t like them. You didn’t smile or glare, your eyes stayed blank, as you moved to your seat. You sat down next to Morgan and took out your phone, answering a couple text messages and going on Tumblr.

“Since when does Sam talk to the likes of you?” Morgan asked.

“Morgan,” Jack hissed. “Don’t be a bitch,”

You looked at Morgan and saw her turn her eyes back on Jack, “What, I’m serious,” She looked at you, “So, tell me, why is he talking to you.”

You knew that Morgan and Sam had a thing not too long ago, and you decided that being bitched at for the rest of the year was worth what you were about to say, “I guess he finds me more interesting than a girl that inhales a can of hairspray a day,”

You heard Jack snicker from next to you, Morgan’s eyes turned to daggers and the second she heard Jack snicker she turned her daggers to Jack, with a sharp turn of her head. “Jack!”

He smiled, “What, Morgan? I can’t hit a girl just because she said something you don’t like, but was actually hilarious.”

You smirked at Jack’s answer and faced forward just as class started.

            Preppy bitches- Zero. You- One.
