The next night you showed up at Sam’s house around 7 o’clock in a black dress that hugged your body so tightly, you wondered if it was even okay for you to wear. You wore black pumps, which would make you as tall as Sam, your hair straight but pulled back so it didn’t hang in your face.
You were beyond nervous, it didn’t help that the dress just covered your ass. The only family you had met of Sam’s was his mom and dad, yeah they absolutely adored you, but the real question was, would his siblings?
The second Sam opened the door and racked his eyes over your body, his jaw dropped slightly. His eyes darkened at the sight of your legs, you held your right arm and blushed. Sam was in black slacks and a white dress shirt with the red tie you told him to wear, his sleeves were rolled up to his elbows and his hair was perfectly styled to the right. His hazel eyes finally locked with yours and he smiled, “God, you look..”
You brushed your hands down the front of the dress, “Do I look okay? It isn’t too much?”
Sam’s eyes went wide, “Are you kidding me? You look fucking gorgeous, gorgeous isn’t even the word I’m looking for.”
Your cheeks lit on fire at his words. He backed away from the door and let you walk in, as soon as you did his hand found its normal spot on your lower back. You took in his house and noticed how there were so many people crowding the house, your stomach churned uncomfortably.
Sam must have felt your tension because he stepped in front of you and held your hips while his eyes found yours, “There’s no need to be nervous, my siblings are going to love you.”
“But there’s so many people,” You whispered while glancing around, you actually couldn’t stand masses of people. Sam hadn’t figured that out yet, but it was one of the reasons as to why you never went to concerts or parties, you couldn’t stand the feeling you got inside your chest when someone’s arm touched yours.
“You won’t meet everyone, you’ll probably only talk to Ben, Annie and Em,” Sam reassured you.
You took a deep breath and nodded, you finally looked at him and he wore a smile. “Claustrophobia, huh?” He asked, while wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pulling you to him.
You hit his stomach, “Shut up, no one but my sister knows that,”
You felt Sam smiled against your temple, he kissed your cheek and pulled back. “But honestly, you look gorgeous, Y/N,”
You smiled and was just about to say something when a guy, who looked like Sam, came up to you both wearing a smile. “You must be Y/N,” He said.
You smiled nervously, you knew this was Sam’s older brother Ben and nervous doesn’t even cover what you felt at knowing you would be meeting his siblings. You nodded, “That’s me,”
Ben’s eyes twinkled as he threw his arm over Sam’s shoulders, pulling him into his side. Ben glanced down at Sam while grinning, “Wow, Sammy, you told me she was pretty but I was expecting this beauty,”
You watched as Sam smiled at you and shoved his brother off, “She’s perfect, don’t you think?”
Your heart melted at his words, but what you really wanted to ask was why he hadn’t asked you out, or did he even plan too? The words were stinging your tongue, but the nervousness you felt paralyzed your mouth, Ben just looked back at you and happy eyes, “Well, come to me and I’ll show you a good time.”
