Chapter 7 - The Terrible Truth

[Deity Ai's P.O.V]

[In Gui's Dream]

"Maid Mu!" Gui screams.

Gui tries to approach Mu as her arms and legs are tied to horses, But Prince He holds him back.
Gui distraught, you can see the pain in his face. Gui looks at Emperor Shi who has a smirk on his face as he sits in golden chair.

"Father! Kill Me! Spare Her!.. Please! "

Gui yells as his eyes are filled with tears and he looks a mess.

"Don't call me father.. you bastard! You lost the privilege to call me father when you tried to look for your whore of a mother!"

Shi stands up from his chair and shouts agressively in Gui's direction.

"Please! Father! She did nothing wrong, It was me! I did wrong!"

Gui pleades and drops to his knees.

"Kill her!" He yells at the guards.

When Gui hears this he grips his sword on his hip.

The guards whip the horses which makes them forcefully run, pulling Maid Mu into pieces.Blood splattering all over Gui and some on He.

Gui eyes bug out from shock, his eyes are red and full of tears. Prince He standing there in shock, his legs become weak. He falls to the ground.

"NO!" Gui screams and gets up pulling out his sword running at full speed towards Emperor Shi.

Gui wakes up out of his sleep screaming. He breathes heavily and gets out of his bed, putting his shirt on. He grabs all his stuff and leaves.

[Meanwhile in Rumi's Chambers]

Rumi is laying on her bed as she is too fragile to move. A servant comes in and tries to get Rumi out of bed.

"Empress.. Please get out of bed"

The servant asks politely.

Rumi trys to sit up, but her arms give out. You can see the life has been drained out of her.

"I need help.." Rumi says softly.

The servant rushes over to her and helps her out of bed.Rumi gets up and sits in the chair next to her bed. She looks around in a daze and She watches the servant remove the bloody sheets from the bed. Her eyes fill with tears. After the servant cleans everything.She helps Rumi put on her royal clothing, So that she fits the part of Empress.
Rumi looks at the clothes and sighs. She leaves her room and gathers all of the girls execpt for Bao Fang and holds a meeting in Tzu's chambers.

"Are you okay..?" Mu Dān says in a worried voice.

"They are unmerciful... What happened last night... Proves to me that they need to be taken down"

Rumi says with anger and sadness in her eyes.

Tzu watches and walks out of the room. And as shes walking down the hall, She runs into Bao Fang.

"Bao Fang! " Tzu says.

"I was just coming to see you.." Bao Fang says.

"Why aren't you with the girls?? Rumi called for a serious discussion" Tzu says to her.

"Nobody told me.." Bao Fang says irritated.

"Well.. I will let you handle that.." Tzu looks nervous and walks away fast.

Bao Fang bursts through the door of Tzu's room and slams the door behind her. She looks at Rumi intensly.

"So you call a meeting without me?!" Bao Fang says furious.
