Chapter 23 - Banished

[Deity Ai's P.O.V]

Serval guards burst through the door yanking Rumi from her bed.She is calm.

"Let me go.. I can walk by myself" She says as they drag her out.

[Bao Fang's Chambers]

Bao Fang hands Bi to Ruan.

"Take her to Mother Yuju,She will keep her safe" Bao Fang says,emotional.

Ruan hears guards and fleas out the window with Bi.

The guards burst through the door and drag her out. Bao Fang cries because she knows she might never see Bi again.

[In Jail]

The girls look at eachother,worried.

"Let's not worry girls.. pray for a miracle" Rumi says.

[In Gui's Chambers]

"They have been arrested.." Prince He says as he bursts through the door.

Gui stands up quickly.

"We know what to do.." Gui says.

Gui leaves the room and He follows after.

[A few hours later]

The girls are brought to the throne room and sat before Emperor Shi on their knees.
Jian,Da,Gui and He all stand on the side lines with the royal council watching this situation.

"..You will die today.. " Shi says.

The girls look at him with teary eyes.

Suddenly a guard comes in panicking.

"Emperor!" a guard says.

Emperor Shi looks annoyed and yells at the guard.

"What!"

The guard looks nervous.

"The people are rioting at the front gates!" the guard says.

Emperor Shi sighs with irritation.

"Well stop them!" Emperor Shi says.

The guard looks nervous to say anything.

"..They-They..won't stop until you let the girls go.." the guard says,stuttering.

"So kill them all,If they won't comply!" Shi says.

Advisor Han interrupts.

"You can't kill them all then you'd be the emperor of nothing.." Han says.

The guard and Shi look at Han.Emperor Shi pounds his fist on the arm of his chair. 

"Tell them the girls will not be executed.. But if they riot again there will be bloodshed" Shi says.

The guard nods and runs out of the throne room.Emperor Shi looks at the girls.

"You will be set free.. but.. You can never set food in Jiao or San ever again as you will be executed.." Shi says.

The girls try to hold in their tears.

"Get them out of here!" Shi yells,aggressively.

The girls are taken out of the throne room.

Shi looks at his sons.

"Did you know they were evil..?" Shi asks.

Prince He pretends to be disgusted.

"..I'm appalled that I layed with such a evil women.." He storms out of the throne room.

Gui follows after him.

"You should've killed her when you had the chance,Father" Da says to Shi.

Emperor Shi grimaces,Da walks out and Jian looks at Shi. And clenches his jaw.

"..you banished my wife.. the mother of my child.. Now my little girl will not have a mother" Jian says.

Shi looks at Jian.

"You are so clueless.. You are the heir to this throne but you are a fool.. She is not a helpless women.. She killed 2 trained assassins.. and came into this throne room and threatened me,And she took your child and hid her away.. And you still love that wench" Shi says.

Jian tears up.
"She took Bi??"

"If you are going to act like a little girl and cry then get out of my sight!" Shi says,bluntly.

Jian wipes his tears and walks out.

Shi sighs in frustration.

[The next day] [In Alzar,Nakeef]

The girls arrive in Alzar,Nakeef.A day after being banished from Jiao.

"I miss her already.. " Bao Fang says.

Kun Lian hugs Bao Fang. 

"I will see you later.." Xiu Huo says.

"Where are you going?" Rumi asks.

Xiu Huo smiles.

"I have a friend to visit.." Xiu Huo says.

Rumi looks around the village and all the people running around. Mu Dan takes a deep breathe.

"What do we do now?" Mu Dan asks Rumi.

Rumi looks at her,unsure.

"..I don't know " Rumi says.

[A few mins later]

"Hello.." Xiu Huo says as she walks into a tent.

Suddenly a smiles comes onto her face.

"I told you we'd meet again.." Xiu Huo says.

"It's been awhile.. Xiu Huo" Shyrin says. 

Shyrin smiles.
