"I did something stupid.. I can't tell you why I did it but I threatened Emperor Shi.. And he might come for us and we need to ensure our safety somehow" Bao Fang says to the girls.
The girls stare at Bao Fang in shock.
"You did what!" Rumi yells.
"Are you crazy?!" Xiu Huo asks.
Bao Fang shakes her head.
"This is serious.. we need a plan" Bao Fang says.
"The people.." Mu Dan says,to herself.
Everyone looks at her.
"You mean like we do good for the people of Jen'xi and If we are to be executed they will riot against Shi.." Kun Lian says.
Mu Dan nods to Kun Lian.
"I like that.. Let's do that" Bao Fang agrees.
"We could hand out things they need and take care of them" Rumi says.
"We need to prepare for that.. now" Xiu Huo says.
[A hour later in Servant Mei's room]
Kun Lian walks into her room and looks around. Mei turns around and smiles.
"Mei.." Servant Mei says.
"For now.. can you just call me Kun Lian" Kun Lian says sitting down.
Mei sits down with her.
"Sure.. Kun Lian, Did you get answers?" Mei asks.
Kun Lian nods and Mei looks at her with a curious look.
"It's true.. I'm Princess Mei" Kun Lian says.
Servant Mei starts to cry. She covers her face with her hands as she cries. Kun Lian tears up.
"I've been waiting 20 years to see your face and now I finally I can see you " Mei says.
Kun Lian smiles and hugs Mei. She hugs her back tightly. Kun Lian lets go and looks at Mei.
"I was wondering.. How old are you? You look so young" Kun Lian asks,curious.
"..Oh I'm.." Mei hesitates.
"I'm sorry,I shouldn't have asked.. that was rude of me" Kun Lian says.
"No.. I'm 33 years old" Mei says,looking down.
Kun Lian widens her eyes in shock.
"You are 33 years old.. That would have made you.. 13 years old,when I was born" Kun Lian says,dumbfounded.
Mei looks down. Kun Lian looks at her.
"And Shi is my father.. He is 55 years old now.. That would have made him 35 years old.. Oh my.." Kun Lian says,tearing up.
Mei looks away in shame.
"Kun Lian.. I doesn't matter now" Mei says.
"..Did he force himself on you?" Kun Lian asks.
Mei looks at Kun Lian,teary eyed.
"Let's just forget about this and move on.." Mei pleads.
"Oh..my god ..He did.. He forced himself on 13 year old girl.. Is that the kind of monster he is?" Kun Lian says getting emotional.
Tears run down Mei's face. Kun Lian hugs Mei tightly.
"I'm sorry you went through that.." Kun Lian says.
