KATRINA'S POV:

The next morning I woke to find myself in a king sized bed which occupied not even a fraction of the large room. On the chair to my side lay a sleeping Ash. Memories of yesterday filled my head. After Ash ensuring me he would never hurt me, I got a little more comfortable with him, which was really weird since i was never comfortable with anyone, ever. But for some odd reason, i trusted him, I felt safe with him.

It was a Friday, which meant school. I loved school because it was the one time of day I was away from home, away from my father.

My father. He was probably furious with me. I didn't go home last night because Ash insisted that I stay over as it was dark outside and I was already injured. However, I felt as though he wasn't telling me something. But I wasn't one to push so I let it go.

Neither way, my father is not going to be in a good mood today.

Ash woke up and saw me trying to get out of bed. he immediately stood up and helped me out with a smile on his face. When I looked up at him I felt butterflies in my stomach. Dammit, not now, not him.

"There's a spare toothbrush in the bathroom and the towels in the second draw. " he smiled, pointing towards the bathroom. I gave him a grateful nod and went to freshen up. When I came out, Ash had his back to me, his phone up by his ear.

"Bring him to the room. I will see to it myself that he is taught a lesson."

A lesson?

FLASHBACK

"YOU STUPID MISTAKE OF A WHORE. YOU NEVER LISTEN. I TOLD YOU I WANTED YOU HOME BY 3:20. IT'S 3:25. YOU NEVER LEARN DO YOU?" I coward back in fear of what was about to happen. My body still ached from last time and so I could only pray that this time it won't be as bad.

"I GUESS I'LL JUST HAVE TO KEEP TEACHING YOU THE SAME LESSON UNTIL YOU LEARN BITCH" He raised the belt in the air. Within two minutes, darkness surrounded me, as I passed out from the pain I could no longer tolerate.

END OF  FLASHBACK.

I blinked back t reality to see Ash coming towards me. " You okay? you look  little pale." he asked, a mask of worry covering his face. I took a step back and slowly shook my head. What lesson was he talking about? He was too kind to hurt a fly let alone a person. I looked up at him, realising that I didn't actually know him.

"Um, c-can we g-go t-to school p-please?" I asked looking down, not wanting to be here anymore. He looked at me with confusion and something else I couldn't read.

Slowly, he nodded his head and smiled, trying to cover up what he was thinking. We grabbed our stuff and made our way to school in his motorbike. Not gonna lie, I was a little scared and so when we were driving, I made sure to cling onto him tight.

When we arrived at school, I noticed that nearly the whole school had stopped to stare at us. I felt self-conscious and unknowingly stepped a little closer to Ash. He looked down at me at pulled me even closer, not affected at all by the attention we were getting.

We entered the school doors only to come face to face with a very angry looking Ashley.
