"Why does Jungkook get the throne!? I'm older thank him! This doesn't make sense!" I yelled at my father who kept sipping on his drink as he sat calmly in his chair.
"Taehyung, son, you're hidden for a reason. You're just not ready. You don't have... enough qualities to be a king yet. As for Jungkook, he obeyed my orders."
"You're ashamed of me..." I whispered. It was painful seeing my father not have enough trust in me as Jungkook.
No matter how much I tried, I was never good enough.
I'd almost be there. Almost be as good as my brother. But almost was never enough for my own father.
I was the person who hid in the shadows. I was just another person in the crowd, when I should've been all the way up there, standing next to my parents.
But i wasn't. I was a normal person when I should've been a royal.
