ZAYN'S POV

2 months. It had been two happy months since I had asked Libby to be my girlfriend.

Everything was honestly going great. Niall had Sophie. Liam had a new girlfriend, Shopia. Harry had Nikki. And Lou had El.

"Lover boy." Sophie threw popcorn at me. "You can unpause the movie." She rolls her eyes after muttering dumbass under her breath.

Libby takes her spot next to me. We both share a popcorn and cuddle. Who would of thought?

Once the movie was over everybody cleared out. We all said our goodbyes and left.

"Zaynie, Get more food!" Niall commanded me.

"Niall, whats the magic word?"

"Zayn Malik, please get us food so we don't starve and cause the female population to go wild."

"Wow. Cocky much?" Harry winks.

"Well," I say as I grab my car keys. "I'm off to get food. Anyone want to come?"

Everybody shakes their head or says no. "fine." I mumble under my breathe.

I head to the junk food side of the store. I know Niall probably wants chips. So I grab a few bags, because we're all growing boys.

I pick up a few more items. Then I decide to head to the checkout. I grab a Twix bar for myself. I slowly look at the new issues of magazines.

I grab a 'Peoples' magazine and look at the front cover. There is what looks like a couple.

The girl is wearing a light blush pink dress. She has light brown wavy hair, like Libby's in summer.

The boy is wearing shorts with a red polo shirt, one that looks similar to the one I browed from Niall. He is wearing a pair of dark black Ray Bans, preventing me from seeing his eyes. His hair is dark black and styled in a quiff.

I look at the headline. It says:

'Zayn Has A New Girlfriend?'

Thats when I realize, The girl is non other than Libby and I am the boy.

"Zayn, you might want to come in here." I hear Harry call. I slowly walk downstairs, afraid to what might come. As I get downstairs, I can hear that a news report is on. Great! Just what I needed! Note the sarcasm.

"Since this picture has gone viral, a new rumor has sparked. What has happened to Perrie Edwards? Is Zayn cheating? And who is this mysterious girl that has caught Zayn's attention?"

I hear my phone ring. I answer it, not bothering to look at the caller ID.

"Zayn?" Libby's sweet voice rings.

"Lib, I'm sorry, so sorry."

"Did you see the news?"

"Yes, Libby listen to me. Nothing is going to happen to you. Ok? You have to trust me."

"Zayn, I'm just, I'm kinda freaked-"

"You listen here lover boy. You clear this up okay? Okay. The dam media is not going to make my best friend look like a slut, whore, h-"

"Ok Nikki, I get it I'm gonna fix it ok."

"Oh you better-"

"Nikki! Stop! My phone remember? Sorry, Zayn." Libby mutters.
