Nia Pov

I haven't spoken to Keith in almost two months, it's been 1 1/2 month since he did all he did that night. I will not go through another abusive relationship.

I had got up to go to the bathroom, I checked my phone and it was 6am. I stretched and and the used the toilet with my stomach upset but brushed it off cause I knew damn well dinner last night was a lil under cooked. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I'm a go back to sleep but when I wake up again I won't have to do this.

"Nia!!!" Driah screamed. I ran into her room to check on her and she was hunched over.

"Driah what's wrong?!?" I said rushing the her side.

"My water broke last night, I woke up in it and then when I went to the bathroom my mucus plug came out and these contractions are getting intense!" She yelled grabbing my hand.

Driah wasn't due for another 3 weeks and she was supposed to be here but I asked her to come over this weekend cause I've been lonely.

"Come on." I said we walked to the door and I helped her down and got her into my car. I pulled off as she stared to tear up.

I dialed Woodys number

Me: Woody!
Woodsman: Nia what's going on
Me: Meet me at the Hospital! Driah water broke last night and her contractions are 3 minutes apart!
Woodsman: SHIT FUCK FUCK IM ON MY WAY!

The line went dead. "Nia how close are we." She said in pain.

"We are 5 minutes away sis."I said, she closed her eyes and started to cry. I reached and grabbed her hand.

"Nia I'm so scared...I'm so damn scared, I'm officially not ready to be a mom and, I've been faking strong for so damn long, but I can't do this Nia." She said shaking her head as she closed her eyes tighter and her grasp got tighter.

"Nadriah Ali, you have done so much, you are a great young women and in a few short hours a great mom! You have busted your ass through school. You are going to do this and I'm going to be right next to you." I said as we pulled up

I got the wheel chair and helped her in it and then ran her in."She's in labor! Can you please help us." I yelled. They grabbed her and ran her to a room and I followed behind.

"I'll send Woody back as soon as he gets here." I said then turning around to text Woody and he was already there.

"Where is she!" He said frantically.

" 5th door on the right." I said and he ran back there.

I looked up and saw Keith. I turned the other way and sat in the waiting area."Nia please don't avoid me." He spoke.

"Please just stay away." I said looking at my phone.

"Nia..." He said again but my stomach was upset and I ran to the nearest trash can and let it out. I felt Keith behind me and he held my hair back for me.He handed me a water bottle and I drank some and spit it back in the trash.
