That name, it's the same name which Isabella had called Bethany before. As I recollected my memories from that evening, I began to worry about Bethany.

"Bethany, where's Bethany?" I asked, as I frantically looked around the white room. It smelled of cleaning products in here, cleaning products and that hospital smell.

"Bethany's fine..." Kat spoke first, her minor pause said that she has something to say.

"Bee, there's something that you should probably know." Amy called out, gently resting her hand on Kat's shoulder.

"You're both dating," Their eyes widened, shook took over Kat's features then it turned to amusement. "And you're afra-"

"What? No! I have a girlfriend, and Kat isn't my type." Amy cut me short, seemingly annoyed about being "paired" with Kat.

I sighed, there's only so much I can joke about. The reality of this is grim, seeing as this is the first time that Isabella and her gang actually hit me. Before they'd just do little stuff that would get me in trouble or stupid shit, they had this thing about not showing any marks because then Brandon would know.

"You're going to have to telling her now, I mean, she is in a hospital bed," A voice broke though the awkward silence, one I did recognize. "It's only fair."

I hadn't exactly paid much attention to the room, so I didn't notice the blonde male sitting on a chair. His plaid blue T - shirt was two buttons down, which exposed his silver dog tag. I had a small urge to fix his black beanie that looked to be hastily placed on his head, hiding the rest of his blonde strands that seeped out the front. The more I focused on his hair, I noticed reddish blue bruise around his eye and busted lips.

"Bryce," Amy exhaled. "Do you want to tell her? I would also rather it that way." She turned to face the boy sitting in the plastic chair, her hand on her hip.

"Alright, then you guys will have to leave, please. Just my personal preference. Thanks." He said, after a sigh of frustration. Rising from his seat and getting closer to the bed.

"Hey, I'm Bryce. This is going to sound kind of crazy? But you know me better as Bethany. Bethany Nelson."

For the entire time he spoke, his voice was deep and smooth, but when he said Bethany's name. His voice, was on the same pitch level as her. My eyes looked up at him, his eyes averted after a nano second of contact.

"Bethany...is you?"

He smiled at me, it wasn't a sincere one. He looked nervous, more than anything else. "The one and only. Bethany Nelson." The words escaped his lips but the voice he spoke with belonged to Bethany.

I could feel my jaw loosen as I stared at him, he clicked his tongue and looked annoyed. His hand reached out and closed my mouth, he shook his head as he turned around and rested against a wall.

"So, Bee. What do you think? Pretty freaky right?" The more he spoke, the more it made sense. But the real question is why did you choose now to help me, and how are you doing that..

It'd be best not to freak out, I mean, he did help me with Elizabeth and Isabella, though he did go along with their games before.

"Okay, I may not know what's going on but don't you think it's a little late to be playing hero after almost a full year? I've known Brandon since childhood," I started off slow, exploding isn't what I want "A-and I came here to study music and arts because my best friends are here, I wouldn't be lonely. But it seems that, maybe I shouldn't have come here, because I'd be bullied because I'm fucking friends with someone!" I cried, my eyes burning and my throat seized up.
