The week rolled up faster than expected, and here we are, Saturday night at a club. Gehenna to be more precise, Savannah and Cat has heard so much rumours about Matthew, some say that Matthew is a name he faked. Thing is, why the hell would he?
Cat decided to go call up Lucifer to hear it from a source. But..
"Oh my gracious, are you done yet?" I groaned, attempting to stretch.
"Quit moving or it'll smudge and I'll have to start over."
A low growl escaped my lips as my annoyance grew, Cat's idea of questioning Lucifer is going to check his club out, and that means we're dressing to impress, but it's more like she's dressing both her and I.
"Done. See, you look absolutely gorgeous!" She chirped, leading me off of my chair to the mirror.
When my reflection came into clear view, I'll admit that I feel shocked in disbelief. I've told Cat time and time again that she's an incredibly multi-talented young woman and yet she doesn't believe me, something I continuously fail to see and forever will.
"Well, do you like it? Come on, don't be afraid to judge harshly." Cat teased, she knew of her skill yet denies it.
"I look..." I trailed, attempted to find the proper adjective.
"Horrifying? Stunning? Absolutely drop dead lustrous? I'm betting on the last option!" Cat squealed, shaking with excitement.
"No, yes and yes." I laughed, the light make-up in shades of green blended in with my eyes and gained most of my focus.
Cat knew that caking my face with glorified frosting was not my idea of a good look, so she decided that soft hues and light application was her method in pleasing me.
"Cat, I look amazing but don't you think this is too much for a few questions? I mea–"
"Heck no, we're going to gehenna to unwind a bit. Then we can ask Lucifer some questions, it was never fully about the Matthew theories." She chuckled, brushing a few of my curls aside and smiled. "We're human, and if Matthew has really gotten caught up in some bad news then we shouldn't get in the middle of it. All we can do is ask Lucifer to talk and convince him of no drastic actions."
"Yeah, I guess. But I wish you would've agreed with me, all this is a bit uncalled for." Gesturing to the make up, if she thinks I'm getting in that dress.
"What? Nah, not at all." She waved it off with a giddy grin.
After grabbing the dress she took out and threw it back into the closet, Cat began to silently question what I'm doing. I had no intentions of dressing up for such an evening, a simple outfit like some blue jeans and a white vest would suffice.
"Oh no, you are no–"
"Hell yeah, I am. Ain't no way I'm getting all dressy just to hang out and then ask Lucifer some questions." I poked in, explaining the reason for my actions.
"Fine. Fine, you don't have to dress up." Her voice grew sullen but it's for her own good.

"Hey Blondie, didn't know you were coming in tonight." A gruff voice sounded behind Bryce and I.
Before I left the house with Cat, I got a text from an unknown number. I was skeptical about it at first, until I realized that it was Bryce fucking with me. When I picked him up at the closest bar, I was met with baby blue booty shorts wearing Bethany.
"I came with some friends, hope you don't mind." Bryce spun around on the barstool, my eyes following his moments.
"I don't mind, just don't get into any fights. Especially with the homophobes. Please, I don't need another one of those." He groaned aloud, pinching the bridge of his nose.
