"Oh." All my happinrss suddenly drained from my body as i stared at them. He didnt come up to me and even give  me a hug...

"Hello! Im Mackenzie." She said cheerily standing up from the bed where she was seated next to Adrian.

My wolf growled, it took me a lot if will power to not let it out. Adrian cleared his throat and stood up. "And you are?" She said still smiling.

"Summer. His mate." I said intentionally. Her smile dropped amidetly. She looked back at adrian and back at me.
"Oh. Adrian didnt mention....you." She said disappointed. Yea, oh. She gave me a devious smurk and put her hands on her hips. Adrian then but in.

"I was wondering where you were." I bet you were. Mackenzies smirk only grew and adrian looked nervous and smug.

" Well, ummm, i had something i wanted to tell you." I told adrian nodding towards the door. He nodded and was about to leave when Mackenzie just had to open her mouth.
"Awww, but me and adrian where just getting to know eachother." Mackenzie purred grabbing his arm.

"Sorry to hear that. Adrian. Lets go " I said walking out the door. Stupid, dumb- "What was that all about?" Adrian asked walking out of the room. " Oh no adrian im fine. Thanks for asking. Its not like i passed out or anything." I said walking outside to where i thought there lake was. I was beyond pissed, he wasnt there for me and on top of that he wasnt there because of another girl!

" If your mad-" He dared to say.
"Me? Mad?! Oh no. Its not like you left me for another girl." I said on the verge of tears. I might be overreacting but when your mate defys you it hurts..... A lot.

"Summer, really? We were just talking." He said catching up to me. The lake was now in view. "Just talking my ass." I said standing near the water. I sniffeled.

"She wasnt doing anything!" He said standing in front f me. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.

'Wasnt doing anything?'

My fists clenched together and when i opened my eyes Adrians head was drenched in water. He wiped his face.

"What the hell was that!?" He daid angrily. I smirked.
"Its what i was gonna tell you when i so rudely interupted you and mackenzies bonding time." I said sitting down making swirls in the water. I sighed heavily.

"You said you would try." I said sniffing again turning the swirls faster with one flick of the wrist. He sighed to and sat next to me.

"I am. I promise nothing happened." He said taking my hand stopping the swirls. I looked into his eyes and saw truth. I believe him. But then again i dont.

"You sure?" I said wiping a sungle tear. Why am i crying? Its not like i caught them naked.

Instead of responding with words he responded with a longing kiss. I couldnt resist. I kissed him back and he pushed me up against the rocky shoreline. He licked my bottom lip, pleading for entrence. I didnt except-instead another ball of water plopped on his head. I started laughing.

"Dammit summer." He said with one last kiss and got up.
"So ..these magical powers?" He asked taking my hand in his and  walking along the shore line.
