Summer p.o.v

The baby had come. And it was the most painful thing ever. She, or as we named her Rosalyn, Rosa for short, came out more developed than expected. She had already been up and walking by the time she was a month old. She had inherited the dark hair and pronounced facial feature of Adrian and my doe eyes.

Adrian had never been more protective than ever, we had joined packs with my brother joshua, and not one word has been heard from those creatures.

"Rosa!" I called as I set her sandwich and cup of water down on the table. I heard her bounding down the stairs before she popped on in and sat down.

"Thank you mommy!" She was talking and waking like a toddler even though she was only about a year old. The doctors didn't know what was going on. "Your welcome now eat up." I turned around to do dishes.

As I was rinsing out a cup I went to run it under some water, but the water moved. Yes, moved away from me. It wasn't me, I would know if it were me.

I went to rinse the cup off again and again the water moved away, this time shushed giggles erupted from behind me. I turned the water off and looked at Rosa.

It couldn't be...could it?

"Rosa?" I asked wiping my wet hands on a towel. "Yes, mommy?" She asked still trying to control her giggles.

"Was that you?" I asked leaning against the table. She shook her head and went in for another bite of her sandwich. I took a glance at her cup of water. "Rosa? Will do mommy a favor?"

She licked her lips clean of any crumbs and nodded. I took her cup and placed it in front of me, can you make the water move from inside the cup?"
Rosa squinted her eyes and sure enough a small bubble of water shaking lifted from the cup and splashed back down.

I gasped, a d looked up at Rosa who was laughing. "I can do this to mommy!" She quit oly flicked her wrist at my herbs that were hanging above the Idk an and sure enough they grew, slightly but it was there.

She then got up and opened the back door, gusts of wind soon began to spiral around the kitchen, the stove burners turned on as the flames grew bigger.

"Rosa! Stop it!" She continued laugh some more.

Adrian decided to walk into the kitchen with a casual "whoa" k shrieked again "ROSA STOP IT!" I demanded, she quickly stooped, as did everything else.

"Holy shit." Adrian muttered with big eyes.

"Daddy! That's a bad word!"

Holy shit indeed.
