I rushed through the forest; Yamato, Sai, and Kiba right behind me.
"Where do you think they are?" Kiba asked, and I looked back, giving him a small smile.
"I honestly don't know but I have a feeling he would be here, where I fell a few years back," Kiba nodded and I turned back, concentrating on where I was going, and to make sure I didn't go in the wrong direction. I glanced around before focusing myself onto the river in the distance. I jumped out of the tree and looked around, before hearing a laugh. I looked up to see Sasori, there was a man with white hair behind him, with a scythe on his back. Jashinist; I could tell straight away.
"Sasori," I said, stepping forward; he smirked and jumped down.
"I missed you Mika," He whispered and I heard Kiba growl from behind. I looked over to see a very pissed off Kiba, and Akamaru was crouched down, looking like he was about to pounce.
"Don't Kiba; he's just trying to antagonize you," I whispered, my voice soft. Kiba relaxed a bit but remained in a fighting stance. I looked over at Sasori who was looking between us with sad eyes.
"You moved on?" Sasori whispered but got cut off by the other guy he came with.
"Can we kill them yet?" I frowned and looked over at him, with the same look Sasori had. 'Shut the hell up, we're talking.' He groaned and leaned against the tree mumbling something like 'I knew I should have forced Kakuzu to come'. I sighed and looked at Sasori who looked a bit heart broken.
"Mika, just join me. Leave these weak imbeciles, and be with me. Remember what I promised you? A life without constant wars, a eternity together - I'll always protect you Mika, I love you," Sasori whispered. I froze, all my life I'd been longing to hear him say those words but I don't know what I should do.
"I-I I can't Sasori, I love it here, I've already told you this," I mumbled, looking away. I regretted it, especially when I heard Kiba gasp in pain. I turned around to see the white haired guy holding Kiba by the throat.
"Let him go!" I screamed, and Sasori frowned.
"Come with me and I will," I turned around and looked at Sasori; almost forgetting about Yamato who was hidden in the trees. I heard the guy yell something like 'shit' and few bangs before I got hit and went flying. I hit something that felt like plastic - Sasori. He put his arms around me and went tumbling across the ground with me in his arms. When we stopped moving, I sat up and looked at his face. He looked so innocent, I don't know what happened to him to make him join the Akatsuki, especially when he cared about me so much. I thought he would have came with me, not them. I found myself smiling as I pushed his hair behind his ear. He smiled back and pulled me down and gently pressed his lips against my cheek.
"I miss you so much," He whispered into my ear and I smiled before finding myself being pulled off.
"Stay away from her!" Kiba growled, before being shoved into a tree by Hidan, if I heard correctly. I looked away at Kiba and felt my eyes water, he was struggling to get up. I ran over and put his arm around my neck and pulled him up, not noticing Hidan coming at me with his scythe; Sasori was just standing there, his eyes glued to the scene of me and Kiba. I pushed Kiba out of the way and took the hit, feeling Hidan's scythe rip through my stomach. Sasori's eyes widened and he screamed my name at the same time Kiba did. I clutched my stomach as soon as he pulled it out; I looked at the wound and watched the blood seep through my fingers. I smiled up at Kiba and looked at Sasori before collapsing. Yamato managed to get back up and catch me.
"Retreat Kiba!" He yelled, and Kiba climbed onto Akamaru, and we took off. My vision was getting blurrier with each jump he took.
"Hurry up," Kiba started, "She's losing blood fast!" He cried out, his voice was starting to strain. I smiled over at Kiba, and blew him a small kiss. He smiled and looked forward.
"We're almost there!" Kiba yelled, looking at me. I could barely see anymore but I had to keep conscious for as long as I could, for Kiba. I glanced behind me and couldn't make out any figures.
"I love you Kiba," I managed to choke out as Yamato jumped of the branch and sprinted through the village.
"I love you too Mika," He whimpered, watching as my eyes shut.
"Sakura, we need medical attention, now!" Yamato yelled, setting me onto a bed in the building we had gone through.
"What happened!?" Sakura yelled and Kiba frowned.
"Sasori wasn't paying attention and his team mate Hidan, who had this weird weapon - a scythe, he attacked Mika, shoving it in her stomach. Sasori wasn't to pleased but he surprisingly didn't stop us when we fled," Kiba explained and she nodded.
"Ino, go get Lady Tsunade, now!" Ino nodded and ran off while Sakura got as much people as she could to work on healing my wounds.

"I knew I shouldn't have sent her on that mission," Lady Tsunade whispered to herself, placing her hands on her face.
"I'm so stupid," She groaned, just as Giraiya walked in, he questioned her and she explained what happened.
"How about we go out for a drink to help calm your senses?" Lady Tsunade, liked the idea of it but was worried what every body else would think.
"One drink wouldn't hurt," She whispered and went off with Giraiya, who regretted letting her drink as much seeing about how much she complained but at least she wasn't as stressed, that he was pleased about.
"I better get you back to your room Tsunade, before anybody sees you," He spoke, his voice gentle. She refused at first but ended up coming with him after spewing her guts up in the alley-way.
