I have to say I look pretty good. I kept on looking at myself in the mirror for a long time thinking about how to control my hunger. My thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock on my door.
"Come in" I said as I grabbed a button up shirt and put it on
A little girl came in with a huge smile on her face. Her long blonde hair had a big dark turquoise bow on the back as the long sleeve dress she is wearing that reaches to her feet matches the color of the bow. Her blue eyes were sparkling with happiness.
"Bill can we go horse back riding now" she asked me as she turned her smile into a pout
I smiled and laughed a little "of course we can but don't tell your father or your step sister even your step mother" I said to her looking at her in the eyes
"I promise" she said smiling
I took her small little hand in my big hand and we walked out to the stables. I let go of her hand and she runs up to her white horse that she calls snow. I walked up to my horse which is brown and named her Mia. We rode off to a dirt path we've been to before which goes up to the tallest hill. We stopped at the top and looked at the view.
"I still think this view is amazing" she said looking at the town called Derry.
"Yeah I agree Stella" I said looking out at the town. I kept on looking at the time for dinner so that Stella would be ready but then. I've been trying to protect Stella cause her father blames her for everything including her step mother and step sister. But her big brother Felix has been helping me out and the new butler Alfred who teaches Stella how to play the piano and other things.
"Stella we have to go now" I said in a hurried voice
"Ok" she said looking down sad
I frowned. I didn't like it when she was sad. But we raced down to the stables and put our horses back as we exited the stables there stood Francis.
"Bill what were you doing with my daughter" he asked holding a whip in his right hand
"I t-t-took your daughter for a ride o-o-on a horse" I said nervously
He went up to me and hit me with the whip that went across my chest. I hissed in pain and fell to my knees
"Father stop please" Stella shouted
"I decide when to stop. Your not allowed to see Bill" Francis yelled and grabbed Stella's small left hand and dragged her inside.
I sat there on my knees and watched her pulling and crying. I hurt me deeply. I got up slowly and looked down at my chest to see where he whipped me and to see that it was bleeding. I went to my room in the mansion and Alfred followed me.
