Stitch Me Up. [Kakuzu Love Story].

Chapter 5.

Yumiko watched as Kakuzu held Kizune. She was behind them and she couldn't help but glare at Kakuzu. She hated how Kizune just wanted to be with him, even knowing what he had done to her. Hidan had fallen behind, walking only a few steps behind her. She could feel his eyes watching her. She turned her head to the side, allowing her red eyes to meet his. Hidan smirked and gave her a wink causing her to roll her eyes and look forward. 'I can't believe this.. Kizune and the Akatsuki..' She thought.

She knew they would find out about his dreams. He had seen them all die. It broke her heart. Knowing that Kizune was the Shiori clan prodigy as well.. she shouldn't be surprised that he was having those dreams. She recalled when she was younger - her father had told her that every few generations a child who could see the future would be born. It couldn't be Kizune.. could it? It would make sense. She shook her head - enough of these thoughts. She gazed over at her son who was smiling directly at her. She smiled softly, her son.. he could always make her smile.

"I love you mama!" He called and Yumiko smile, "And I love you Kizu," She replied causing her son to grin. Kakuzu had turned his head to look at her and she couldn't help as she looked away but she could feel his stare. 'I can't forgive you..' She thought to herself. She kept recalling when he tried to kill her. She recalled her life back in the Leaf Village. The people she had met, though they were the reason Kakuzu found them, she had been happy for a time. Kizune was happy. Now he's happier and she's miserable.

Kakashi slowly sat up, rubbing his head. He tried remembering what happened and jumped up. "Shit!" He said to himself, immediately rushing back to the village. They had been jumped! Yumiko and Kizune.. the Akatsuki must have them. "I couldn't protect her.." He whispered to himself. He ran straight through the village, almost knocking over people. They needed to send out a search team immediately. They needed to bring them back. He rushed into Tsunade's office, startling her. "Kakashi!" She said annoyed, "Aren't you suppose to be with Yumiko and Kizune?" It was then Tsunade saw his face.

"Where are they?" She said standing up. Kakashi gritted his teeth, "I was jumped. When I woke up, they were gone. It was the Akatsuki," Kakashi said. "They must be after Kizune- he is a prodigy after all," Kakashi said before Tsunade spoke up, "It was likely Kakuzu trying to take his child more like it. Maybe finish off Yumiko.." She said. Kakashi's heart stopped, "His child?" He questioned and Tsunade nodded. "Kakuzu was Yumiko's partner, she was pregnant when he tried to kill her. Kizune is a child of the Akatsuki," She said. Kakashi could feel his world falling apart.

He thought Yumiko was too perfect to be true. But this? Being past lovers with an S-Rank criminal and baring his child? He felt sick. He had made love to her so many times.. and knowing she had been with.. that monster. He shuddered. "I am aware of your feelings toward Yumiko so I understand your shock. I know you two were.. seeing each other," Tsunade said interrupting his thoughts, "But I think it's best we let the ANBU go after her and bring her back safely," Tsunade said. Kakashi shook his head, "The ANBU aren't strong enough," He said.

Tsunade raised an eyebrow at that, "Just because the few that were assigned to you were taken out does not mean they are weak. They were just taken by surprise. And if you don't want the ANBU to recover her, who should I send?" Tsunade said, standing up and crossing her arms. Kakashi looked out the window with sad eyes. "Send me. Send Yamato, Sai, Sakura and Naruto. Let us go after her. She had bonds with us. She will come back, she has to," Kakashi said. Tsunade hesitated at that before nodding. "Very well. Go get ready. You leave tomorrow."

Kakashi rushed out, hurrying to find his team. They needed to prepare quickly in order to catch up. They were going to a full day behind them. Once he had them all gathered, he informed them of the situation. Yamato had snickered, "It seems you weren't strong enough to protect her. I don't know why she chose you," He sneered and Kakashi grimaced. "I don't know why either. We aren't here to argue. We need to find her and Kizune," Kakashi said. Naruto, Sakura and Sai watched the 2 adults argue in front of them.

"Wow.." Naruto mumbled, "She had them both fooled.." Naruto said. Sakura nodded, "Yeah.. Are we the only ones that knew she didn't want love? Just.. y'know. The um.." She blushed and Naruto blushed. "Sex," Sai finally said, "She only wanted sex," It was then that Kakashi and Yamato looked at the 3 of them. Naruto and Sakura's face were bright red while Sai's remained emotionless. "She wanted sex?" The grown men said and the 3 nodded their heads. "So that's why she left me.." Yamato finally said, earning a look from Kakashi. "I told her I loved her. That's why she chose you. I feel better now," Yamato smirked.

Kakashi grimaced at that. Sakura and Naruto looked at each other. "Maybe it's best we all go home and prepare for the mission tomorrow.." Sakura said. Kakashi and Yamato agreed, both storming off in different directions. "Man.. these guys," Naruto groaned before saying bye to Sakura and Sai, making his way home. Yumiko and Kizune being kidnapped definitely affected him but he didn't doubt they would return to the village the moment they could. Yumiko and Kizune loved it here! He retired back to his apartment.

Yumiko followed Kakuzu and Hidan into the hideout. Kizune still clung to Kakuzu's arm. As they walked in, she saw figures of males and a single female. She gazed at all of them before her eyes fell upon a man with orange hair.

"Welcome to the Akatsuki, Yumiko of the Shiori clan."
