You wake up to the smell of pancakes like usually since your boyfriend, Daniel, was a big cook. You get out of bed and walk to the kitchen to see Daniel cooking. "Good morning gorgeous." He smiles kissing your cheek. "Good morning." You smile thinking about tomorrow. Tomorrow is you and Daniel's three year anniversary. "I can't wait til tomorrow." You smile sitting at the island. "What's tomorrow?" He asks confused. "Nothing. I just can't wait until tomorrow."You say trying to hide your disappointment. He puts a plate in front of you and then sits down next to you. You eat in silence and then he tells you about the meetings he's going to. "I have a paper to type." You shrug when he asks. He nods as he takes his last bite and puts his plate in the sink. He kissed your forehead and says goodbye. You start your paper.
-the next day-
You wake up to an empty space next to you. You sigh and roll over to see flowers on your nightstand. You open the card and read it.
You didn't think I'd really forget, did you?

You smile and walk into the kitchen to see breakfast waiting for you. You eat as you finish your paper. Time flies and you get an alarm on your laptop.

You laugh and walk upstairs to find an outfit lying on you and Daniel's bed. (Above)
You change and put on makeup. When you finish Jack walks into your room with a blindfold. You give him a confused look and he shrugs. "I was told to blindfold you and drive you somewhere." He shrugs. You nod and let him blindfold you. "Y'all have some weird kinks." He says quietly as he takes you to his car. The drive takes what felt like hours. When you get there, Jack opens the car door and leads you into a place. He sits you down and takes off your blindfold. You open your eyes to see a fancy restaurant and Daniel sitting in the chair across from you in a suit. Your eyes water and your cheeks turn red as he passes you a little box. You open it to reveal a really pretty ring. "What is this?" You ask looking at him with tear-filled eyes. "It's a promise ring. To promise you that one day I will replace that ring with a wedding ring."
