This story is about a girl named lizzie who is trying to find her way in life. Her dream is to be a successful musician and open her own music store. The only thing stopping her are her close minded, christian parents; and her judgemental sister, demi. They strongly disapprove of lizzie's goal and think that such a career choice will lead to drugs, tattoos, piercings, and other "sinful" things. Lizzie didnt have the best childhood growing up. She spent her days in solitude writing songs, rocking out to heavy metal, and experimenting with herself. She was eventually sent to foster care for 6 months because her parents had enough of her "sinful" ways, and thought they would teach her a lesson. Lizzie lives in hopes of going to music school in L.A., but little did she know, her parents were sending her off to law school in massachusetts. It was either that or get thrown out of the house to live in the streets. The only thing keeping her alive and sane is her best friend since kindergarten, Ari, and also her family. Lizzie actually considers ari's family, her family. If it wasnt for them, lizzie would be dead. As the story unfolds, lizzie goes through hell and back to reach her goals and rebels, not caring what her parents think. However, will it all backfire? Or will lizzie find the light and take the path of her own independent life? Will the help of some future friends lizzie makes be enough to help her follow her dreams?
