Today was the day the Mitchell family had been waiting for , for what seemed like a very long time . Today was the day they found out the genders of their babies .

Both kids were at school and both adults had taken the day off work so that after the appointment they could go get the kids reveal sorted .

Right now , both adults were just leaving for their appointment which was in 10 minutes .

" hurry up or we are gonna be late" Chloe laughed .
" sorry mom" Beca joked as she slowly made her way outside .
Due to the amount of weight on becas front side , her back was now starting to hurt a lot meaning she walked slower than what she already did due to her pregnancy waddle .

She buckled herself into the car before Chloe climbed in the drivers seat and began driving .

" so last bets on genders ?" Beca asked .
" two boys" Chloe smiled .
" I'm going for one of each" beca shrugged .
" let's go find out" Chloe smiled .

" Rebecca Mitchell ?" The doctor called .
They followed them into the sonography room where dr Kelley was sitting at the ultrasound machine.
" welcome back" dr Kelley smiled .

Becs done her usual and lay down and lifting her shirt.
Dr Kelley had a feel around her belly before applying the gel and waving the wand around.

" would you like to know the genders ?" She smiled .
" yeah please" Beca smiled .
" okay so this one right here , the one taking up most of the room which I believe is baby A , is a little girl" dr Kelley explained , using her finger to show them on the screen .
" awww another girl" Chloe cooed .
" and this little one , Baby B , who's a bit squashed in here" dr Kelley laughed "appears to be a little boy" she smiled .
" awww one of each" Beca cooed .
" we're finally getting a little dude" Chloe laughed .

Whilst driving towards the store , Beca was sat in the passenger seat admiring the scan photos whilst Chloe drove .
" I'm so happy" Beca smiled .
" me too" Chloe smiled , placing her free hand on the brunettes bump which Becs then placed her hand over her wife's .

They drove to the customisation store and picked up part of their surprise for the girls before going somewhere else to get the fillings .

They then returned home and placed them in the freezer and Waited until the girls had to be collected from school .

" it's 2:45 I'm gonna go pick them up" Chloe announced .
" okay" Beca nodded as she sat on her computer on the couch , replying to some emails from work .

Once Chloe left , Beca took the time to call her mom and tell her the news .
" Becs honey , what's up?" Kirsten asked as she answers the phone .
" nothing , I had the gender scan today" Beca smiled .
" oh yeah I remember you telling me that . So tell me , what you having ?" She asked excitedly.
" a girl and a boy" Beca smiled .
" oh my god , congratulations sweetheart" Kirsten said happily .
" thanks" Beca smiled .

After a little chat , they hung up and Beca continued replying to emails until she heard Chloe and the kids get home .

" so here's how it works . You have a cup each which represents a baby . When you drink the slushy , it will turn your tongue blue if it's a boy and red if it's a girl" Beca explained , gesturing to the black cups that the kids had one each which said ' baby A' and ' Baby B' on them .
They also had black straws so that no one could see what colour slush it was until they drink it .

Both girls went on the count of 3 and began drinking their slushy .
"AHHH BRAINFREEZE" Riley yelled , holding her head .
" it's blue !! It's a boy" hailee yelled as she pointed at rileys tongue .
" yours is red" Riley said excitedly as she looked at hailees tongue .
" a boy and a girl ?" Hailee smiled .
" yep . You happy ?" Beca asked .
" I'm gonna have a little brother and sister !!" Riley said excitedly As she jumped off her seat and gave her mothers a hug . Hailee followed and also hugged her moms before they finished off their slushes.

Later on , they were all sitting on the couch watching friends as both kids lay tired of waiting on dinner being ready .
They were both starving apparently.
They didn't have any clubs tonight so it was a quiet night in for the family .

Beca was focused on the tv until she felt a lot of movement in her stomach . Due to hailee laying with her head on her lap , she took the girls hand and placed it on her stomach .
" wow what is that ?" Hailee asked as she sat up and placed both of her hands on her mothers tummy .
" that's your little .... sister ?" Beca laughed as she tried to remember what baby was on what side .
" what can we name her ?" Hailee asked .
" not sure yet ,me and mom are thinking of names" Beca smiled .
Hailee just smiled and looked back down at her hands which were still feeling her little sister kicking inside her moms tummy . The 9 year old couldn't explain what she was feeling , but it was mostly just excitement .

Whilst This happened , Chloe sat on the other couch smiling as she admired the sight before her . She took some sneaky photos of the interaction between her wife and daughter before continuing to just smile . She loved how excited they all had become for the babies to arrive .
Riley however missed the whole thing , since she had yet again fallen asleep on top of her mother . Typical .

Later that night , both kids were in bed and the two adults were just laying in their bed watching a movie .

Throughout the movie , they were just laying cuddled up in each others arms like usual. Just like earlier , Beca could feel a lot of movement and so took her wife's hand and placed it on her stomach , holding her hand over the redheads .

A smile grew on the redheads face as she turned around to face her wife .
" is that our girl ?" Chloe asked .
" I think that's our son actually" Beca smiled as she rested her hand on her bare stomach since her sweater was pulled up .

The pregnant woman had got into the habit of only sleeping in her underwear and an oversized sweater since 1) barely any shirts fit her now and 2) she claims Chloe's favourite oversized sweater is very comfy , Hence why she stole it from her wife .

" I'm gonna be so fat after this" the brunette groaned .
" Beca weight falls off of you so easily , you'll not get fat" Chloe laughed .
" hmm sure" the brunette laughed .

Chloe switched off the tv and her light before turning to face her wife .
" did I ever tell you how much I love you?" Chloe whispered .
" all the time" Beca whispered before giving her wife a kiss .
" well il say it again then . I love you" Chloe smiled .
" I love you too" Beca replied .

The brunette turned around and Chloe did her usual which was wrap her arms around her wife and rest them on her wife's bump .
" your hands are so cold it's even making the baby's kick" Beca laughed .

Today had been an amazing day for the family, now they just could wait to meet their daughter and son .
