I only felt a pain in my arm, not anywhere else. I opened my eyes and looked around. Men were collapsing around me, my eyes found the door and I saw Changyun, Taeki, the alpha team and Kibum firing guns and killing off the men. Due to the distraction I pulled out my spare gun and shot Sunghyun in the head then aimed at Wonha. "You wouldn't kill me, Aeri, your precious boyfriend?" I clicked the gun. "I'm not killing anyone, I'm just making sure a corpse is dead" I said before shooting Wonha in the head. I looked around at everyone on the floor. "Big Boss, was mission successful? Over" the radio echoed. "Mission successful" Sijin radioed back. The adrenaline began to ware off and the pain in my arm increased. "Shit" I clenched my arm. "Aeri" Kibum rushed over to me and was checking out my arm. He ripped a piece of fabric off of his sleeve and tied up my arm to stop the blood. "How did you find me? And what are you doing on a special mission?" I questioned. "I've been following you" Kibum admitted. "It was his idea" Sijin added. "He reported the mission, lead it, and carried it out" I looked into his eyes. "Thank you" I softly smiled. "Let's get you to the medicube and fast" Taeki picked me up and rushed me out of the building. "I could've carried her" Kibum called out behind me.

I gasped in pain as Moyeon pulled the bullet from my arm. "You're lucky it didn't hit your bone or any veins, it must have been a crappy gun" she smiled at me. "Probably" I replied. Moyeon began cleaning then stitching the wound. "What happened for you to get shot anyways?" She questioned without looking at me. "The department store, Sijin explained he uses that term with you" I said before clenching my teeth to hide pain. "Ah one of those things, I see" she bandaged my arm and smiled. "I'll let Sijin and anyone that commands you know that you need to take it easy for a while, you don't need to risk those stitches coming open" I nodded. "No guarantees" I smirked then got up and walked out.

I sat in the ruins tossing pebbles. "How did he know I was there?" I questioned the air. "I told you I followed you" I jumped at his sudden voice. "Yah! I scare you, not the other way around" I complained the gently threw a pebble at him. "Why were you following me?" I asked. "To protect you, after that day you were attacked, I knew I couldn't let you go anywhere alone" he said walking closer. "Why would you-" I stopped myself before standing and facing him. "Don't answer me as your superior, but rather answer me as a woman, do you like me?" I asked, my heart racing. "Truthfully, no, I don't like you-" a pain went through my chest, straight to my heart. Tears built up in my eyes. "Then why would you-" Kibum cut me off. "Permission to speak freely?" He requested. "Granted" I said slightly coldly. "You didn't ask the right question, Aeri" he smirked. "I don't under-" Kibum cut me off again. "You didn't ask me if I loved you" my jaw fell open slightly. "You-" "permission to do something I've wanted to do for a while?" He requested. "Granted-" before I even got the last bit of the word out of my mouth Kibums lips were on mine. My forehead rested against his as I took in some air. "I fell for you Aeri, I love you" he smiled. "And how did you know I'd feel the same?" I smirked. "The medical team told me" he smiled. "They did what?" "Uh oh" I turned around and saw a shuffle behind one of the large rocks. "Chi Hoon, is that you?" I questioned as I turned around, Kibum hugging me from behind and resting his head on my shoulder. "No, it's just a rock" he responded. "Rocks don't talk, now come out from hiding" he awkwardly shuffled from hiding. "Hi" "thank you" I smiled. "You're not mad?" He was confused. "Oh I'm mad, but if you and your crew didn't say anything, I'd have to work up the guts to tell kibum myself." I giggled. "That's kinda why we told him, we've been here for 3 months and you were here for an additional 4 before that, we kind of figured you would need help" I giggled and hugged Kibum. "Yeah I did" I smiled at him and pecked his lips. "Now that you two finally got together after so long-" "clench your jaw" I gritted my teeth jokingly.
