chapter 15 Knight in the shining armour !

HAYAT POV

We walked towards the table holding hands like a couple . He pulled out a chair for me in a very gentle man's manner.

Am I dreaming ?
I know that I'm not a daydreamer . I pinched myself standing there like an idiot .

Ahhh...I screemed  but not too loud that can disturb others .
It's true ! He did pull chair for me . I sat on the chair in a lady like fashion adjusting my long gown so that others don't fall from it and he took the seat exactly beside me. There were already two people sitting infront of us .
The beast started conversation with them . At first their conversation seen to be very interesting but I got bored when the beast started talking about the work .  For god's sake  it is a party not his business meeting that he started discussing about the upcoming project with them. I've never seen such a workaholic person like the beast ! Wherever he goes he always think about his business expansion though his business is already expanded  world wide , he had many companies in almost all the countries  .I have no idea where he will start the new company may be in other planet !

My thoughts are interrupted , as  the man sitting beside the beast spoke ..
  " The arrangements  of this  party are outstanding like you and your hotel ! " he complimented.

"Thank you Mr Ronald ! It was all done by the beautiful lady beside me ! " The beast said  pointing at me and I just smiled in a reply  completely confused by  his  behaviour .
An hour back he was not satisfied by my arrangements and now he is praising me ! 

Abruptly I felt someone looking at me and I turned backwards.
It was Mr Alvin .I averted my eyes to the other direction . Mr. Alvin neared me and said
 
    " May I have a dance with you ?" Extending his hand towards me .

He grabbed my hand without my permission and dragged me to the dance floor and kept his cold hands on my waist and I  shivered. It felt very odd , I wasn't dancing with him . I was standing there like a statue  feeling uncomfortable  by his touch. Within seconds his hands travelled to my back where my skin was visible for his touch . I made an eye contact with him and he smricked at me . I had an urge to slap him  with the five inch heel   that I was wearing  tonight straight on his face . If   he was thinking that I'm week and  I'm going to tolerate him and his nonsense ,  then he had messed with a wrong women.
I immediately tried to get rid of his hold , but I just couldn't ! His grip thightned more on my waist  . A eyes slowly started filling with tears  but I didn't give up I was trying my best to get rid of his hold.

  "May I  get a  dance with my personal assistant!" The  Beast said extending his hand towards me . Mr. Alvin immediately took a step back away from me and I felt very independent out of his grip.
Suddenly the beast's  hand caught mine and I was pulled towards him. He neared me and we were only few inches away from each other.

  " May I ? "
He asked me before putting his hands on my waist to which I just nodded in reply .
He kept his hands on my waist and I shivered again but it was not from fear or discomfort . His single touch exploded many butterflies in my stomach. Untill now I didn't know that these  butterflies​  existed in my stomach. It was not a foreign touch . It felt like I'm very familiar and this touch has  a great impact on me .

His hands now slowly travelled from my waist to my back but not touching my skin .
What the hell is doing ?
I thought he was different from others but he proved that all men are alike !! Suddenly his hands went to my hair where I tied the knot . He pulled out the  pin of the knot  leaving it untied. The hair was now covering my reveling back.

"You look much pretty in untied hair , so you shouldn't tie them !" He said looking straight into my eyes and we stood in that position for a couple of minutes . I was completely shocked by his actions .
I kept both my hands on his shoulder and lifted my eyes to look at him  first he smiled at me but with in  second he changed his facial expressions and averted his eyes . His averted eyes bought me into realisation that
where I was ? !
and
what am I doing ? !

Hey jenny ! I shouted and almost ran towards her leaving my handsome boss in the middle of the dance floor to avoid the situation which happened a moment ago. Though Jenny was shocked  at my reaction she didn't said  anything .I think she understood my situation.

Jenny , me and Emir  was a having a great conversation at the corner of the hall . Actually I started enjoying the party with them .I forgot that there were other people in this hall untill I heard Mr. Alvin's voice . He  stood in front me and said
" I have a great offer for you Ms . Hayat !"
"Why don't you replace sayan with me ? "
"You have no idea what you deserve!!"
"I'll pay double the amount he was paying you right now for such a beautiful girl and I'm sure you won't regret joining me , I mean my company . " He chuckled saying that.

I'm sorry Mr. Alvin ,, I can't accept your offer I said and was about to walk away from that place but suddenly he caught my hand .
"You have no idea what heaven's you are missing darling ! " He spatted dangerously  forcefully handing me a glass of alcohol.

Within a second someone suddenly took the glass from him .

SAYAN ?? 
My eyes widened as he emptied the contents of the glass down his throat in a millisecond  and smricked at Mr . Alvin saying

  "You don't need to worry about her salary Alvin !"
" I know what she deserves and how treat her !"

Abruptly Mr. Alvin pulled my waist so harshly . My panicked state didn't allow me to screem. He was about to kiss me meanwhile a large fist was thrown into the face of Mr. Alvin and a loud crack sound resonated and a ringing sound came to my ears. Keeping a thight hold on his  shirt collar  he clenched his fist more thighter and gave him another punch in stomach and this time blood oozed from his mouth like a tap.
I was very horrified at that moment .
Mr. Sayan   immediately lifted me above the ground into his arms in a bridal style and he walked out of the banquet hall.
At that very moment I felt like he was not a Beast  but like a knight in the shining armour !
I was  completely surprised by this side of my Knight in the shining armour !
