ZACH'S POV

2 weeks

2 weeks of Seeing her distant, she wasn't the talkative and playful maxine we knew.

2 weeks, of us watching her many times, every single day. Waking up at 2 or 3 in the morning then she would swim by the pool. Or going for a walk.

It scares us to be honest.

It seems like she've been shutting everyone out.

She's also been wearing long sleeves lately, not that we're complaining but this past few weeks had been hot. And she knew that.

Everytime we would lighten up the mood she would only give us a tight smile and leave. Mom doesn't know any of this.

Plus we can't let her know she would freak out.

We talk to logan and logan would only sigh in disappointment. We kept on asking what she's going through but he would only shake his head no.

Feels like she have a hard past behind her.

We figured out that she have been getting nightmares.

How? We were there.

Everytime we would her hear crying or grunting, we would immediately run to her room and just watch her crying in her sleep.

Its painful

Very painful.

I just wanted to tell her everything will be alright soon but i'm just her bestfriend that barely knows her past.

I checked the clocked and it read :
3 : 0 0  A  . M

i heard shuffling and i quickly stood up, nervousness running through my body. Yes i kept myself awake for the past few days to make sure max is alright.

I shake daniel and jonah and they immediately stood up. Me and daniel tip toed towards max's room as jonah get jack and corbyn.

I looked inside and saw no one, i notice the sound of shuffling is coming inside the bathroom.

I walk towards her bathroom to see her back facing me, she held a razor on her hands as she continues to cut her wrists.

" MAXINE "

MAXINE'S POV

I jolt up from another dream again and this time i had enough. I run towards my bathroom pulling out one of the drawers.

I went from a couple of shuffle here and there trying to find it. Once i have found the razor, i started  cutting my wrist.

" MAXINE "

With shock i dropped the razor and saw zach standing there with his mouth open together with the  boys having the same reaction behind him.

" i' m sorry, i'm sorry " i repeatedly said between my sobs.

Zach run to my sides as the others started to help him clean the blood drifting from my skin.

" they were telling me to do it. I am so so sorry " i cried

" shh we are all here now" zach whispers pulling me in a tight hug.

" they? Who are they? " jack asks

" we'll talk about this later. " daniel seriously said.

They cleaned my cuts as they put me on the bed putting me to sleep.

" to make you feel more better. We will all sleep here with you! " corbyn claps smiling but it wasn't the smile he usually gave.

" we will? " jonah asks like a lost puppy and jack slaps jonah's lap

" o yeah we will " jonah said in pain

Zach lay beside me as he cuddled me, me facing him. My head laying on his chest as i wrapped my arm around him.  Beside zach is corbyn .

Behind me is daniel who's arms is wrapped around my waist. Behind daniel is jack who's hugging daniel tightly from the back.

Then jonah lays down a bit from the bottom.His head is placed on daniel's lap
