I woke up shivering the next morning as cold wind blew in from the open window across the room. Cursing under my breath I made my way out of bed and over to close it.
"Ashley." I muttered, knowing she left it open.
I collapsed back on the empty bed and tried to fall back asleep. After tossing and turning for half an hour I gave up and got out of bed. I fixed my messy hair before heading downstairs where everyone was.
"Hey guys." I said, entering the kitchen.
"Morning." Luke said. "I saved you coffee."
"Shut up Luke." I muttered.
"A thank you would have worked too you know." He replied with an eye roll.
"It would have." I nodded.
Miranda snickered as she took a sip of her coffee.
"Where's Ashely?" I questioned. "Is she in the living room?"
"I don't know. I haven't seen her." Miranda said.
I nodded before I went into the living room where Tyler, Nick, and Calum were sitting.
"Have you guys seen Ashley?" I questioned.
"No, I thought she was with you?" Calum replied.
"The bed was empty when I woke up. I assumed she came down here." I explained. "You really haven't seen her?"
Each of the guys shook their heads making my heart speed up. Before anything else was said the tv channel switched, showing a dark looking room. Nothing happened for a few minutes before we heard a bunch of screaming followed by a loud bang.
"Let me out!" We heard a girl yell. "Please! Don't do this please."
"Stop yelling before you get yourself in trouble." A man yelled back.
Ashley was suddenly roughly thrown to the ground in front of the camera. I gasped as I recognized the man that began tying Ashley's wrists together. He then picked her up and placed her on a chair and tied another rope around her torso.
"He killed our parents." Nick whispered.
"Tell me where it is." Another man, named Vincent, yelled at her as he placed his hands on the arms of the chair.
"I already told you I don't know where it is." Ashley yelled back. He slapped her before he smiled.
"Your boyfriend and all your friends are watching this right now." He chuckled.
Ashley's head snapped in the direction the man was pointing. Her eyes flooded with tears when she looked at Nick.
"I'm gonna ask you again. Where is it?" Vincent repeated.
"Where is what?" Ashley replied.
"Where is everything your parents left for you? I know you don't have it so where is it?"
"I didn't even know they left things for us. How do you expect me to answer you?" She yelled.
"Stop lying!" He seethed, slapping her again.
"Bring her in."
We all stood frozen as we watched a young girl, around 15 or 16, being dragged in. She was tied up and shivering in fear as a gun was held against her head.
"You have 5 minutes to tell me the answer." He simply stated.
"Ashton!" I suddenly said. "Go online, see if you can find her parents will or anything about where their property went."
"I can't give you an answer. Please just let her go. You can do anything you want to me. Don't bring her into this!" Ashley begged.
"Fine." Vincent smiled. "Bring me my knife."
