lane's POV ~
i leave. my coffee. i walk. more like run. after ethan. he will not corrupt another soul. as he did to me. he drugged me. i found him. trying to get her clothes off. she saw me. scared. i kick ethan. in the balls. he falls. i grab her hand. i pull out my phone. i call daniel. i tell him where to meet us. i hear ethan gaining on us. i'm running protecting this girl. i don't know her. i see daniel's car. he sees me. he pulls over. i push the girl in the car. i slid into the car. daniel locks the door. i sigh in relief as he drives away.
daniel's POV ~
what happened. i ask lane. she looks at the girl. than at me. ethan she said slowly was trying to rape her. she's stiff. who is that anyway. he points at the girl. bailey stephens. she responds quivering... well bailey where do you live? daniel says sympathetically. no where. she shakes. ethan said i would be safe with him. she adds. lane says. you can stay with me, go wait in the lobby. daniel pulls over to the curb where emily gets out. i'll be there in a sec. lane yells out the window. daniel, ethan raped me. he put a pill in my water and... lane couldn't finish she started bawling. you reach over and hold her tight close to you. i'll never let him touch you again. i whisper in her ear. she looks at me and leans in for the kiss i've been needing for a while...
