chapter 20: the walls

Lacy's POV

Derek comes down to Lacy again and talks to her for a while.

" Lacy I think the words on the wall has something to do with you but I don't quite understand it. Im going to read it some more to see if I can figure it out"

" Derek can I get out of here for a few hours I need to go outside I need to see someone too and tell them that I'm okay. Just for a couple of hours "

" Fine I give you two hours and that's it"

" Thank you Derek"

" You're welcome Lacy" Derek said then let me go out.

I went to my house to see if Jacob was there and he was. I went inside and he ran and hugged me.

" Lacy your back"

" I am only out of there for two hours then I have to go back. I hate it. It doesn't feel right. "

"I know but it's probably for the best until Derek figures out how to cure you"

"I know " I said then Jacob hugs me again.

Jacob and I walk around town for a little while and then they go get ice cream. My watch beeps and I look at it then at Jacob .

" I don't want to go back" I said saddened.

" I know but you have to. I'll walk you back." Jacob said then he walked me back to Derek's .

" Right on time" Derek says.

" I know I am " I said then hugged Jacob and he left.

A few minutes after Jacob left I turn into my other form and run outside and Derek follows me. I stumble across someone laying on the ground bleeding .

" DEREK IT'S JACOB. WHAT DO WE DO?!" I yelled.

" I don't know Lacy, but let's get him back to my place. " Derek said then we walked back to his house and Derek layed Jacob on his couch and I ran downstairs to the wall. I run back upstairs.

" You said you wrote all of that right Derek"

" Yes why?"

" You wrote about how I was destined to be like this. " I said and Derek just looked at me with an 'oh no' look.
