Raven...
I fiddle with my fingers as I wait for him to come to the door.
"Coming!" A small familiar feminine voice shouts and I sigh roughly. This was going to be awkward. Seconds later the door pulls open and Analia stands with a silk robe wrapped around her frame. She had a small cut under her eye and a bruise on her cheek. Her eyes widen slightly and she clears her throat. "I don't want anymore pro-" She starts but I cut her off by shaking my head.
"I'm just here to talk to Elijah." I say softly and she slowly nods her head.
"Eli!" She calls out over her shoulder and I shove my hands in my jacket pockets. "Here, come in." She says moving to the side. I step into the warm house and the door shuts behind me.
"Who is it babe?" I hear his raspy voice ask. I could tell he'd just woken up by the sound of his voice. Licking my lips I get antsy as I wait for him to descend the stairs. His socked feet come into view first before his whole body appears. He wore nothing but a pair of grey sweats, obvious nothing was underneath them, and he rubbed at his black curls.
"Someone's here to see you." Analia says as she meets him at the bottom of the stairs. I nibble at my bottom lip as I wait for him to look towards me. When his grey eyes meet my green ones I nearly stop breathing. His jaw clenches tightly before he swipes his tongue over his lips. "Go on..." Analia pushes him towards me and he clears his throat.
"Wassup?" He asks as he comes closer to me.
"I-I gotta talk to you..." I whisper and he nods his head.
He leads us towards he couch and we sit.
"Do you two want to be alone?" Analia asks and he shakes his head.
"No come here..." He calls out gently to her and she makes her way over to him. After she sits next to him she places her hands in her lap and glances over at me. "What is it?" He asks me and I take a deep breath.
"I'm not even going to take to long to say this... Elijah I'm pregnant." I spit out and he stares at me, his face reading nothing.
"Really?" He asks after a while of silence and I slowly nod. Licking his lips he looks over at his girlfriend. She says nothing as they gaze at each other and I feel myself begin to feel embarrassed. "Okay." He says and I furrow my brows.
"Okay?" I ask and he looks back over at me and nods. "What do you mean by okay?" I shoot another question and he wipes his mouth with his hand.
"I can't deny the baby Raven, I've been the only one you were with when we were together. Obviously co-parenting is the best option right now... just let me know when you have appointments and when you need something." He says and I sit shocked, frozen in my seat.
"Y-you serious?" I whisper and he nods once again. Analia smiles and lays her head on his shoulder.
"I bet it's going to be so cute!" She says causing him to chuckle.
"I guess I'll keep you updated..." I say before standing up. He stands with me also and walks me to the door. Before I can head out he grabs my arm, making me look back at him.
"Hey, don't be afraid to ask if you need something, I'm serious. This is my seed as well as yours. We're going the throw the past behind us alright... so... no hard feelings?" He asks and I smile a bit before shaking my head.
"No... thank you Eli." I say and he nods slowly before bending down to place a kiss on my cheek.
"Bye Raven..." He waves as I make my way down his front steps.
"Bye..." I mumble before turning and making my way over to Mel's car. Once I get inside she stares at my side profile as I attempt to hold back a smile.
"So...?" She asks and I bite into my bottom lip.
"He's okay with it, we're going to co-parent." I say and she squeals.
"See bitch I told you that man wasn't going to deny the child!" She says as she shoves my shoulder. Rolling my eyes playfully I let my smile loose. "So how'd his girlfriend take it?" She asks after pulling out of the driveway.
"She's fine with it... she can't be mad though. We were fucking with each other before she came along." I say and Mel nods.
"You're going to let them do them though right? You're not going to try and come in between that?" She asks and I glance over at her. "Oh no Raven, don't give me that look! Leave that man and his new girl be!" She says and I roll my eyes.
"How can I? Every time he looks at me I can see it all over him that he still wants me! It's only a matter of time before he's on his hands and knees crawling back!" I say and she shakes her head.
"There's no use in talking to you..." She mumbles go herself before shaking her head.
