Amalia...

"Almost done...." Elijah whispers as he glides the paintbrush across my huge belly once more. A giggle leaves my lips as I run my hand through his braids. He adds a few more details to the painting before placing the brush aside. Stepping back he glances down at the artwork before nodding. "Looks good." He smiles before ruffling his facial hair. I reach my arms out to him and he chuckles before captured my lips with his.
"I love you..." I smile and he stares at me, his eyes glimmering as he does so.
"I love you..." He whispers before pulling back. Zariah begins to babble from her position in the living room so he places another kiss on my lips before making his way towards her. In these last six months she's gotten huge, a chubby little thing but she was adorable. Eli was more than excited when he found out we where having a boy. Today was the baby shower and he'd invited a bunch of people I've never met so I was nervous. A knock sounds from the door, capturing me from my thoughts and I turn towards it. After opening it up I'm faced with a ton of people. My face goes red as I struggle to say hello to them.
"H-Hi! I'm... sorry I'm so nervous! Im Ana, you guys must be Eli's family, come in!" I smile brightly before moving to the side. People begin to file into the house as Eli emerges from the living room.
"Eli baby! I thought I'd never see you again!" A older woman squeals, I'm assuming his mother as she wraps her arms around him. He holds the baby on his hip as he wraps his free arm around her.
"Hey momma..." He chuckles before kissing her cheek.
"Is this the little girl you were telling me about? She's gorgeous!" She smiles at the baby before reaching for her. I see Eli is hesitant to hand her over but eventually does.

"Yeah she is... that's my little princess right there and my prince is still baking in the oven." He chuckles causing me to giggle. His mother looks over at me and glances down at my stomach.
"I see... so where's the mother to this baby?" She asks as she looks me up and down once before turning back towards Elijah.
"She's coming." He states simply causing her to nod before kissing the babies cheek. I awkwardly waddle over to the three before reaching my hand out to her.
"I didn't properly introduce myself to you... I'm Analia." I smile softly and she glances down at my hand.
"Joyce." She says before clearing her throat. Eli catches on as do I and he raises his brows at his mother.
"Mom... follow me really quick." He says and she nods before trailing off after his talk figure. I let out a shaky sigh before running my hand through my flat ironed hair.
"Hey... I'm Austin, one of Chris' cousins. This is a beautiful house you two have." He smiles, showing all of his pearly whites. I blush before shaking his extended hand.
"Thank you but this is all Eli's doing. I've only just recently moved in with him officially." I say and he raises his brows for a moment.
"Yeah? Well he sure does have good taste." He licks his lips before releasing my hand. I blush once more before dropping my hand to my side. "Where'd you two meet at?" He shoots another question and I fiddle with my fingers.
"At his art gallery. I submitted one of my collections to him and he liked it." I say and he nods, his bottom lip poking out.

"Damn I wish my cousin would stay in contact with his family a lot more. I seen the way Joyce dismissed you," He chuckles, "She swears you're the reason he hasn't kept up with the family. She knows the real reason why though. If she hadn't treated him the way she did as he was growing up he'd be more fond of her." He says and I blink a few times before backing away from him. If Eli wanted me to know about his past he'd tell me himself.
"I don't mean to be rude but I don't want to dig into his past without permission." I say softly and he nods.
"I feel you, my bad." He chuckles before I feel an arm wrap around my waist.
"I see you've met Austin, long time no see." Elijah's voice sounds from behind me. Austin smiles once more and nods his head at his cousin.
"Hey man..." He says gently before a smirk places itself on his lips. Elijah chuckles before pulling me to press against him.
"What's up? Who invited you?" He shoots some questions at him making me furrow my brows.
"Your mom told me about this little baby shower you two were having and I was like hell, why not go visit my favorite cousin." He smiles brightly and I can feel Eli's temperature rise.
"Favorite?" He lets out a short chuckle. "You've always been a joker." He grits and I turn in his hold to look up at him.
"Where's baby girl?" I ask causing him to lower his glare from his cousin. He clears his throat before jerking his head behind himself.
"My mothers got her. I just had a talk with her too, I noticed how she didn't really seem to taking a liking to you." He says, pulling me away from Austin slowly.

I push my hair behind my ears as we walk towards the kitchen.
"That's alright baby, I don't expect everyone to like me." I giggle as we enter it. His mother stands by the island cooing down at his small child.
"Trust me, she has no room not to be liking anyone." He says and I smile bashfully before he walks over to her. They exchange a few words before he swoops the baby from her arms. She smiles before turning her attention to me.
"Let me apologize about my behavior. I guess I was just a little upset that my son hadn't been in contact with me for a while." She says before stopping in front of me.
"That's alright, no hard feelings." I smile and she nods before going back over to Eli.
"Oh my god! Is this her! She's so pretty Eli!" I hear a female scream causing me to spin around.
"Yeah that's my baby." He smirks at me before a girl with her black curls comes skipping over to me.
"Hi! I'm Elaine, Elijah's oldest sister." She introduces herself before pulling me into a hug. I giggle as I wrap my arms around her and enjoy her presence.
"Well hello there! It's nice to meet you, how come he's never mentioned you to me?" I ask, playfully glaring at Elijah, as we pull away from each other.
"Well if you haven't noticed he's always been so secretive about everything! He's kept you from us for however long." She laughs and I join in.
"I guess I'll just have to start prying at him more." I giggle and she laughs once more.
"So... do you two have names for Jr?" She asks and I shake my head as we seat ourselves on the island.
"No but hopefully we come up with something soon." I sigh and flips her curls from her face.
"I think Princeton is a cute name." She winks and I twist my lips before nodding.
"That is cute, I'll let Eli know about that." I say and she giggles. In no time we're in a nice flowing conversation and time passes us by. I meet more of his family and small gifts are given to us. Raven shows up for a bit but leaves shortly with the baby. As everyone is leaving, they make Eli promise to show his face more before they give their goodbyes. Sighing Eli shuts the front door before leaning against it.
"I forgot what a handful they are." He chuckles and I laugh before wrapping my arms around him. I wanted to know more about his past but I could wait until tomorrow, he was to tired to do anything now.
"I like them." I smile and he gives me one back before kissing my lips softly.
"I'm glad you do... now when am I going to meet your family?" He asks and I shrug before heading towards the stairs.
"Whenever you're ready." I say before slowly making my way up them.
