I climbed to the top of the Jade Palace. Nobody ever noticed I was there anyways so it was the perfect hang out. I often went to the Pool of Sacred Tears .
Can't say how I know it's name, I know the whole layout of the Palace. Sort of like an internal map you know?
Anyways believe it or not being on the run looking out for yourself is exhausting. I don't have a family or much of a home. Home is wherever I'm not kicked out.
It was peaceful up there, plenty of peach trees and water so I was set. Well for the moment at least, sound travels fast out here. I couldn't help but follow the sounds of wood splintering.
They took me all the way to the training hall. Here I had to watch my step. Normally I'd see a panda and four others training but tonight it looked like someone I hadn't seen before.

Shifu's pov
My mind was full , too much so to meditate so I decided to train instead. Perhaps see what this old panda could still do. Correct Old to Well seasoned if you would.
Without the Five under foot it was easy to show my full potential. Running at full speed, showing acrobatics most of my kind can only dream. I maneuvered through the swinging rings finishing with a flip kick on the other side.
Oh yes I still have it. Pity there wasn't much to go full force on. I paused before leaving, I could swear I saw something watching.
"Show yourself!"

I ducked, this was too close for comfort. I didn't know what this guy was like. Small or not he could obviously kick serious tail.

No nevermind! Time to book it before I'm tossed out. I left before he even got to the window. I ran back to my spot in the mountains.
