Thirty long years pass since Tigress's death. Shifu had reverted back to his strict and stoic self, barely showing any glimpse of a smile .
He never filled Tigress's position so the team was simply known as the Five. The village, well being them weren't really phased by the great tiger's death.
That annoyed Shifu even further, the warriors weren't too thrilled either.
"Why do we bother protecting this place? It's not like they care." Monkey said moodily.
Crane strolled by them. "We don't protect the village we protect the Palace. It's an unfortunate coincidence they settled around it."
"Sound logic as usual." Viper said.
Po stayed quiet. These days he rarely spoke unless it was necessary. He hardly ate as much as he used to and gained more muscle due to that.
He didn't goof off anymore either, he did as instructed. Truth be told the others missed their big dumpling loving panda .
Anyways that day came and went quietly. Not many burglary happened so the Five simply laid about. Until a scream came from the center of the village.
"We got it let's go guys!" Fung the Croc bandit led his gang out.
Po sighed dully. "Guys let's...what the?"
"Hey back off!"
"It's that chain user!"
"What user?" Po looked at Crane. "Get an aerial view."
Crane nodded and flew up, he definitely saw a chain user. It was all a blur but it was covered in black and silver. It handled the Crocs easily leaving them tied up.

The warriors reported back to Shifu who honestly? Barely seemed interested.
"Chain user? I don't know any warriors we've fought like that. "
"Yes and they looked odd. Taller then a tiger and their body was completely straight backed."
"A bipedal chain wielder . We'll have to look into it, meanwhile evening training as usual."
He no longer over saw their training. There was hardly any need so as they did that he went to the Dragon Cave. Often dwelling on things he Should have told a certain student.
He had placed a picture of Tigress next to one of Oogway as something of a memorial.
"Another day, another petty vigilante out making a name for themself. " Shifu sighed. "You'd never have allowed this Tigress."
There were often times the master wanted to let the village fend for themselves. They had become quite complacent in the belief the Palace could do it all.
But that simply wasn't his Master Oogway's philosophy of Kung Fu. Nor was it Tigress's way, she'd help even if no one had asked. He smiled going in a meditative daze.
