Ethan POV

After Percy had explained everything to us, how to move, what is happening, we were ready. 

"Watch it Beckendorf!" Silena yelled as Beckendorf fell head first onto the ship again. 

"Boys," I heard Zoe mutter under her breath. 

Zoe Nightshade. Even though I have never met her before, I developed a crush on her. However, she was a ex-huntress and I knew she would never like me back. I sighed and went below decks to my room. 

Below decks, Hephaestus had made a room for each of us. Mine was like a miniature pirate ship filled with quotes about revenge. I flopped onto my bed and reflected about the past few days. We were in the air and we were all relaxed. No monster could attack us in the air, or so we hoped. I had heard all the other quest members go to their respective rooms. My room was the first from the entrance and Zoe's was opposite mine. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

*In the dream*

Nemesis appeared to me. 

"WAKE UP!" she hollered. Startled, I shot upright on my bed, fully awake, just in time to see five fully armed cyclopes go into Zoe's room. I quickly got into my battle Armour and burst into the room to see Zoe tied up on the bed with tape over her mouth. I pressed the emergency button in every room which triggered an alarm. Then, I charged.

I know it was a stupid thing to do but I forgot the odds. I stabbed one cyclops in the gut before ducking under another cyclops's club. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Percy and Annabeth in full battle armour rushing in to help. I was so distracted that I did not see the club hit me until it was too late. I crashed into a wall and formed an Ethan sized hole in the wall. I fell to the floor and blacked out.
