Percy POV
I sat on the deck, watching the clouds streak by. My wise girl Annabeth sat beside me, enjoying the view.
"Hey Seaweed Brain," Annabeth called me.
"Hm?" I answered absentmindedly.
"What do you think the part from the Parthenon is gonna be like?" she asked.
"I dunno," I replied, "who can tell?"
"That's true Seaweed Brain," she chuckles.
She kissed me, got up and went to her cabin. I stayed there for a while more before I went back too. I lay on my bed and fell asleep.
In my dream, I was surrounded by all of my friends from camp Half-blood. We were fighting a mass of monsters including hellhounds, dracaenae, centaurs and many more. As I fought, I could see things starting to go wrong. Jason went down after being clubbed on the head by a laistrygonian giant. Piper, distracted by Jason's death, got stabbed by an enemy demigod. Frank, in dragon form carried Leo, who set fire to monsters. When he sees Piper's and Jason's bodies, he lost control and shot his fire at Hazel. Hazel got burnt and Frank, in anger, threw Leo off his back. Leo landed on the ground and died immediately. Frank saw what he had done and crumpled to the ground, barely flinching when a hellhound tore his head off. Annabeth, she too died, fending of a giant. I was too far away to help her. Suddenly, Gaia's face rose from the earth.
"Soon little demigod," she chuckled, "soon."
I woke up with a start, screaming.
"Annabeth!" I grasped blindly, desperate for my Wise girl.
Suddenly, the door opens and Annabeth entered. She hurried in and comforted me. I slowly calmed down and whisper, "I love you Wise Girl."
"I love you too," she tells me and falls back asleep.
We woke up to the sound of Leo's voice blaring through the loud speakers.
"This is your captain speaking," Leo said, "We have reached your destination."
Slowly sitting up, we walked out of my room, hand in hand. When we got to the deck, we were greeted with a stunning sight. The Parthenon was below us, and even the ancient structure rendered Leo speechless. Hazel was the first to break the silence.
"Guys," she started, unable too take her eyes off the Parthenon, "How do we get the piece when there are tourists?"
"Well then," Leo smirked, "We could either kill them all or not bother because the Parthenon is closed."
Piper smacked him on the head. "Stop being so mean," she chided.
"Okay, so who is going?" I questioned.
"We should all go," Annabeth said firmly, "There's strength in numbers."
Leo went to the control room. "Releasing ladder," he announced. Sure enough, a ladder extended from the ship and hung above the Parthenon.
"Cool!" I grinned and dashed down first. We all made it down quietly, barely making a sound. Well, except for Leo. He missed the last rung and fell flat on the roof. What used to be the roof anyway. We sneaked down and through the pillar.
I started looking for the place.
"Pillars, nope. Suspicious door in the floor, yep," Leo said.
We all went there and opened the door. We peered in. It looked like there was an endless path of stairs.
"I guess we go down," Jason stated and we went down in single file.
About a hundred steps down, we encountered two dracaena guards.
"I got this," I said confidently and took out riptide. I sliced upwards and the first dracaena exploded into golden dust. The second dracaena threw a net at me but I sliced it in half and killed her. We continued walking and after a while, we stumbled into a large room with another door at the opposite wall.
"There are probably a lot of monsters in the next room," Nico warned.
We got ready and I kicked down the door. Nico's prediction had been right. The next room was filled with monsters.
"Battle time!" I hollered and charged into the room. I took on two cyclops at the same time, making one impale his spear in the wall then stabbing the other. Then, I used my sword to wrench the spear out of the wall, killing the other cyclops. I spun around just in time to stab a hellhound that was about to bite my head off. I spotted Beckendorf battling a hyperborean giant. Suddenly, a telkhine lunged at him. Desperately, I hurled Riptide at it. Amazingly, it pierced through the telkhines neck and it exploded.
Beckendorf turned around. "Thanks Perce!" he hollered.
I gave him a thumbs up and waited for Riptide to return to my pocket. In that time, an enemy demigod charged at me. He uncapped a pen and it turned into a spear.
Whoa, I want that, I thought. I dodged all of his attacks and Riptide returned to my pocket. I easily disarmed him and caught the spear. I capped the pen and put it into my pocket. He ran away, defenceless.
First, I was unsure if I could keep the pen. I saw that it was called Omega and I felt a tingling feeling in me. That probably means it is mine now! I thought.
However, I was used to using Riptide so I stuck to it. Lunging back into the battle, I crashed into Jason.
"Storm time?" he asked me.
"Storm time," I agreed.
He focused and created some storm clouds over our heads. I looked at the storm clouds and pulled the water from it. I could see the storm clouds flash with lightning. The water in the storm clouds was not enough so I pulled the water from an underground pipe. It exploded int the room and everyone was drenched. I focused on making an air bubble around my friends and when Jason made the lightning strike the water, everything except us got electrocuted.
We collapsed, exhausted. Annabeth and Piper rushed towards us and helped us up.
Frank came forward. "You should be the ones to take the piece."
We groaned as we stumbled over to the piece. It looked like a book medal. We picked it up and kept it.
Then, we went up the billions of stairs, climbed up a pillar and climbed up the ladder. Once I reached, I dashed to the chest for the parts and put the book medal in. Then, I collapsed on the floor asleep, Jason following suit.
The last thing I heard was Leo saying, "That was fun."
