Jason POV

Whew! After that battle yesterday, I was exhausted. I hoped we would at least have one day of peace, but then Annabeth had a dream that made us have to say goodbye to Luke and then we decided that...

Oh, I'm ranting again aren't I. Sorry about that. It was just my ADHD acting up again. There are perks and disadvantages of having ADHD. As I was saying, we decided that we were going to Delphi the next day. So, I dashed downstairs and crashed down onto my bunk and fell asleep straight away, wanting to get my energy for the fight.

*Time skip*

The next day, I woke up feeling refreshed and energized. Surprisingly, my sleep was not interrupted by dreams. Dashing up the steps, I saw Piper, Percy and Annabeth already up.

"Hey Jason," Percy seemed hesitant about something.

"What's the matter?" I asked.

"We are the only ones here on the ship," he told me.

I was shocked. Why and how?!

Annabeth seemed to read my expression.

"Don't worry, they went to the battle without us. We needed to guard the ship." Annabeth sighed, "I still wish I could have gone too though."

"Well its lucky you didn't, because we just love a fight," A voice sounded behind us.

We turned around. There stood Kronos with his scythe in hand. Behind him was Krios, Oceanus, Hyperion, Koios and Prometheus. The all stood with a hungry gleam in their eyes.

"By the way, your friends are on a hopeless quest," Kronos informed us as she held up the piece.

"No!" I screamed.

"Titans, attack." Kronos said and they charged.

I ran straight at Krios, remembering how I had fought him in the war. However, as I tried feinting down and stabbing up, the move that brought Krios down in the war, he blocked it and kicked me.

"Foolish little demigod!" he guffawed, "I've learnt since we last met."

"And I've grown stronger," I retorted and leaped. I brought me sword in an arc towards him and sliced downwards. "Argh," he groaned as he staggered backwards. However, he started to heal. I gaped in surprise. "Wait, what, how?" I asked.

Krios laughed. "The embrace of our mother heals us, although we are not on earth."

I grimaced. "I will find a way to kill you, somehow."

Krios struck left and I parried it but I did not see his other sword swinging towards me from the other side. I cried out in pain as the sword met my flesh. Piper heard me and looked over to see blood gushing out of my wound. In her moment of distraction, the titan Koios, whom she had been battling, knocked her out with the flat of her sword.

Percy and Annabeth looked over, but quickly looked back to their battle. I didn't blame them, they had other things to worry about. Each of them was battling two titans. Percy took on Kronos using Riptide, and used another sword to battle Hyperion.

Even as I watched, things started to go wrong. Kronos used his scythe and sliced downwards, while Hyperion sliced upwards. Even with all his training, Percy could not stop the combined strength of two titans. He raised his two swords to block Hyperions head blow but Kronos's scythe cut Percy's leg. Percy immediately passed out.

Annabeth was doing much worse. With only one dagger that had been disarmed, she already had to dodge all the attacks. She was doing well, but could not hold on for much longer. Unfortunately, Oceanus had caught her with a lucky blow and she fell to the ground.

My head was spinning as I tried to keep conscious. Krios looked down at me. "Goodbye little demigod." he smirked and slammed the hilt of his sword on my head. Pain erupted and I blacked out.

Nico POV

Before we left, I had agreed with Percy that they needed to defend the ship. So we left the four most powerful and headed down to Delphi. In my defense, I knew I had to or else we would die from lost provisions.

"Split up to look for the trapdoor again," Frank told us and we crept around Delphi.

"Aha!" Hazel grinned triumphantly as she pointed to a trapdoor. Luke looked over, confused.

"There is another one here," he stated.

"And another here," Leo, Michael and Ethan chorused.

We all looked at each other in confusion. Then, we saw that what they were saying was the truth. The ground had trapdoors scattered everywhere.

Realization dawned on our faces. "A trap," I confirmed.

"Well, we should go into all, but split up," Castor said.

"And one person should stay on top to be a lookout," Leo stated.

Everyone gaped at him. "What?"

"It's just that you just said the first smart thing in your life," Hazel smirked.

"Than-Hey!"

"Since you were the one to suggest this idea, you are the one who should stay up here," I said with a rare smile on my face.

Leo paused, thinking about what I had just said.

"I call dibs on Zoe!" Ethan yelled then blushed. "I mean as my partner down the trapdoor."

"Me and Hazel," Frank yelled.

"Me and Charles!" Silena said.

"I guess I'll go with Neeks," Luke said, surprising me.

"Then I have Castor," Michael said.

"No! I wanna go!" Leo complained, finally registering what I said.

"Too late!" I grinned as we all chose a trapdoor and went in. I could not shake the feeling that we were walking into a trap.
