Hi everyone! I'm Emma.
To start, this is a Harry Potter story. I own no characters. I am definetely no J.K. Rowling. I don't really like OC's for Harry Potter, so if I ever write Harry Potter, they most likely won't have them.
This is also a WAR AU. It does NOT follow the epilogue. It actually happens quite recently after the war and is in first person-Hermione's point of view. If you don't like that, don't read. But I hope you do. Also, writing this, I hope it didn't come out OOC (out of character). I don't like that either. Tell me if it did.

A/N(June 6,2020)-this story is at least two years old. i don't have time to edit it like i would want to but i still see and read all your comments even if i don't reply!! i would take this story down because even though i'm proud of the plot, not so much the writing aspect. but since i've gotten more views lately, i'll keep it up. i hope everyone is staying safe xoxo.
Dear Harry,
Thank you. Thank you for helping me through the war. Thank you for being there for me in the tent. Thank you for helping me with Ron. Thank you for everything. I would not have traded a normal time at Hogwarts for the time that we had. I made many memories, both good and bad, but mostly good. I am grateful I went into your compartment the very first day on the Hogwarts Express. I am also thanking that mountain troll in the girls bathroom, because that is when I became even better friends with you and Ron. I don't care about what happened in Malfoy Manor, nor Ron walking out on us, or going hunting with you. Those are times that are important to me, along with the Burrow, and the tent that was our home for most of the year. I'll see you soon at the Burrow, and then we'll make housing arrangements. Thank you again, Harry Potter.
Love, your favorite bookworm,
Hermione

Dear Ginny,
I can't wait to see you at the Burrow. Times have been tough, and my parents, well, I'll tell you at the Burrow. Tell Molly I'm coming soon. I'm going to also talk to George.
See you soon, hugs,
Hermione

I apparated to the Burrow with a loud crack. It was built differently since the war, the house was wider, as well as taller. It was five stories, and made of sturdy wood. I could see the backyard stretching on and on. I walked up to the door and knocked. "Coming!" A pleasant voice called from inside. The door creaked open, and I found myself face to face with a certain Molly Weasley. She looks great, I thought. Her red hair was frizzy, and there was a cloth headband in it. She had a plaid blue dress on with an apron. Her cheeks were a rosy red. "Hermione dear!" Molly exclaimed. She gave me her famous backbreaking hug. Molly stepped away, and led me inside. We came to the living room. A fireplace was in the corner, with couches and chairs a maroon color. A door was on two sides, one leading to the kitchen, and one upstairs. The rug was a brown color, and the mantle held pictures of the Weasley children. I walked over, taking a deep breath. First was Charlie. He had bright hair that was long and wavy, but he had a smile on his face and brilliant blue eyes.
