Suprise!

"Girl take this test!" My best friend yelled at me
"NO!" I said hiding under the covers
"Why Y/N?"
"I'm scared."
"You have nothing to be scared of."
Keith is always busy. He's literally home only on the weekends. I miss him all the time. There's a slight possibility I may be pregnant and I'm freaking out. I don't wanna go through this by myself and what's if he's not ready for a baby? Were not even married yet. I don't know what to do.
"Girl I'm probably not even pregnant." I said trying to doubt myself.
"Oh yes you are, throwing up every morning."
"I had food poisoning."
"Y/N please get up and take this test."
"Ugh fine."
She handed me the test and I went to the bathroom.

Few minutes later
Time went by and we waited and waited. I didn't even wanna look at it.
"Well what does it say?"
"Positive! Oh my baby's having a baby!!" Your best friend said
Ill admit I'm not very happy about this. I love kids and yes I want my own but now is just not the right time. Keith's career is taking off and I'm still in school to become a nurse. I'm stressed already.
"Oh Y/N please cheer up , this is so exciting." Your best friend said trying to comfort you.
"I just cant believe this. I don't know why I let him talk me into not using a condom that one time."
"Girl he trapped you!" Your bestie said laughing
"Not funny."
"Ok I'm sorry but look this was meant to happen. Y'all are gonna be great parents."
"You think so?"
"I know so. Ive known you for years and I've seen you with kids. Your gonna be fine."
I smiled thinking about the good in this. I'm having a baby with the guy I love so much and I know for a fact he loves me too. I just cant help being a little scared
"How are you gonna tell him?"
"Tell me what?"
We both looked up and saw Keith standing in the door. He never comes home this early and I was freaking out.
"Hey Keith bye Keith!" Your best friend said getting up to leave
I was stuck and couldn't talk.
"Hey babe. What did you wanna tell me." He said looking me dead in the eyes
"Um.. Keith I'm pregnant. Yay?"
He didn't say anything.
"Oh I knew you would react this way!" I said getting up to pack my clothes
"Wait react like what?"
"You don't want a baby right now and I knew it."
"Yes I do want child right now. It's all I think about."
"Really? Oh Keith I thought you were gonna leave me."
"I'd never leave you Y/N I thought you knew me better than that."
"I'm sorry baby my bad thoughts got the best of me. I'm so scared Keith how are we gonna do this?"
"We're gonna do the best we can by this baby. You have nothing to worry about , you got me. You will keep going to school because your almost done. We will be ok you have my word."
All my worries went away knowing that I have him by my side. He put his hand on my belly and a tear came out.
"AWW!" You both heard and turned around to see your best friend.
"I thought you left." You said
"I wasn't gonna leave you at a time like this. Plus if Keith started tripping I was gonna beat him up." She said smiling at him and he mugged her.
"Aw come here family." He said giving me a hug and a kiss on the forehead and then the lips
"Ok that's how y'all got here in the first place."
You all laughed and you were finally at peace with how things were gonna be.
