i looked away from the music book and into the blue box where more items lay.
i reached in and picked up a small blue box opening it to find another piece of jewarly like always.
inside the box was two teal colored dimond earrings.
"wow" i breathed holding the box in my hand.
"i guess i will have to get my ears periced now" i mumbled to myself closing the box and setting it down next to the book of music.
I looked back into the box to find in the bottom a bunch of white pieces of paper.
"What's this" I mumbled furrowing my eyebrows.
I picked up the top paper to find it was a photo.
'Dad!?'
The photo was of him with his back turned away from the camera at what looked like an old park in the leaf village looking out at the setting sun glowing a vibrant orange and red.

This was the first time I had seen an old photo of my dad, I had never really took an interest in what his life was like when I he was younger because I had never felt the need to ask.
After looking at the photo I felt a pain grow in my heart thinking back to my dad in the hospital.
'I hope your alright' I thought clutching the photo to my chest carful not to crease it and solemnly looked out the window for a few minutes looking at the sunset that was just as astonishing as in the photo.
Eventually my gaze shifted back to the box that held the rest of the photos in it and setting the one I had in hand softly onto the wooden floor next to me and picked up another.
