*Lukes point of view*

I drove Kaylee home. It was the same route as always but this time it felt different. It felt amazing. We arrived to our houses and decided to go to mine.

The second we walked in we got scolded by my mom for not being in school but I told her Kaylee didn't feel good. My mom bought it.

Kaylee and I made my way up to my room. I was never really nervous with her but now I suddenly was. She sat on my bed and smiled at me.

"Hey Luke?" Kaylee questioned.

"Yes Kay?"

"Remember that day you broke your arm cause you saw me falling and went under me? I ended up crushing your body and your arm snapped. But I didn't get hurt. You never let me get hurt." I didn't know what to say because this was so out of the blue so I just stared at Kaylee and shook my head, letting her know yes.

She continued. "That was 2 weeks after I moved here. And that was the time I realized I wanted to be your bestfriend forever." Kaylee smiled and looked at me.

"Kay I love you." I told her. We always said this to eachother but now I think she knew the new meaning behind it. She looked at me with her big innocent eyes. What she did next will make me bow down to her forever.
