Chapter 4

Allysa POV

Today was the day we are going to have our cook out. We were planning it for a while, and now the day is finally here.

I picked up my phone, and told Milyn that I was on my way. The cook out is at here house, since she got the biggest anyways, lol.

I pulled up at her house, and parked my car. I walked up to Mimi's house, and opened the door.

Walking in, I saw Brandon, Chris and some of Brandons goons.

"Wassup y'all?" 

"What's good Ally?" Brandon asked.

"Nothing, just chilling. How bout you?"

"I'm good, Milyn's in the back."

"Thanks, and hey Chris."

"Allysa."

I walked to the backyard, and it smelled so damn good.

"You chef now?" I asked, teasing Milyn.

"Hey boo."

We hugged each other, than sat down.

"So when is everybody else coming?"

"Girl, they're on their way now." She said, looking up from her phone.

 A couple hours later, everyone was in the backyard. Just eating & laughing.

"Where is Chey?" Chris asked.

"Nigga, you catching feelings?" Lj asked.

We all laughed.

"Bitch it was just a question." He rolled his eyes.

"You the bitch for rolling your eyes." I said, making everyone laugh.

Chey POV

I walked in the house, and saw Brandon at the table playing cards.

I didn't really know if I should tell him hey or what not.

I walked past the card table, until I felt somebody hands on my arm.

"Wassgud girl?"

"Um, Do I know you?"

I snatched my arm back.

"Nah, but you can get to know me."

He did this ugly ass cheesy smile. I mugged the shit out of him.

"Aye Jeremy, back up from her." Brandon said, walking up to us.

"Oh my bad B, I didn't know that was all you." He held his hands up in defense.

"You straight man, just cool out."

The dude walked away, and it was just us two.

"So how's life?" I asked.

"It's alright, how bout you?"

"I'm okay."

"Oh, cool."

"You still go out with Hannah?"

"Nah, we called it quits 2 years ago."

"We? or you? We both know it's always you calling quits."

We both started laughing a little.

My hair got caught up in my face.

He pushed my hair from out of my face, and we both just stared at each other.
