You played Miss Right what seemed like a hundred times that night. It had rapidly begun to take on a new life before you, as if Namjoon was singing it just for you. You had tried several times to read, watch tv, do anything but listen to that song, but you couldn't concentrate on anything else. So finally you surrendered, lay down on your bed and plugged yourself into the world Namjoon had created for you. You closed your eyes with no intention of sleep, and let the music flow over you like ocean waves.

Sleep finally came around 3am and lulled you into its dreamless clutches. It was all black in your mind as you slept but the rhythms of that song were still playing in your head, upbeat and relaxing.

You woke as the sun began to leak through your curtains and creep across the floor to your bed. You groaned as you opened your eyes and rubbed them with force. Your phone lay beside you, the screen black and free from the music you had made it play over and over for hours. You swore gently under your breath and made a mental note to charge it when you got to the coffee shop.

You dressed slowly that morning, feeling the need to take care over every moment as it passed. You pulled on ripped skinny jeans, a white top with a strawberry printed on the front and your favourite pink converse. After applying your make up and brushing your hair and teeth you were ready to go.

'Okay.' You said into the mirror, giving yourself one last check over. You made your way down the stairs and found your father sat at the kitchen table reading the paper.

'Dad, I'm going.' You whispered, not wanting to disturb him.

'Okay sweetheart, call me if it gets busy okay?' He stood and kissed you gently on the forehead before returning to his seat.

'I will. See you later.' You headed out the door and wandered slowly down the street, quickly completing the short walk to the coffee shop.

You stopped abruptly in your tracks as you saw a familiar, tall figure, belonging to someone you weren't expecting to see until that afternoon, leaning against the wall by the door. You paused for a moment, contemplating whether to proceed or run back home and tell your father that you suddenly felt ill and couldn't work today.

You took a deep breath and chose the first option. What did you have to lose after all?

Namjoon looked up and smiled as he saw you walking towards him. He put his phone back into his pocket and pushed away from the wall.

'Morning.' He said brightly and tilted his head to the side in a way that made your chest ache from yesterday return.

'Hey.' You smiled back. You were suddenly struck by his height, something which you hadn't quite felt the effect off with the counter between you yesterday. Now with his tall frame stood before you like that, it was almost...intimidating. 'You that desperate for your morning coffee?' You asked with a small laugh. Your eyes ran over his face, both his cheeks and nose were red from the cold. How long had he been stood here?

'Yeah, I guess you could say that.' He replied, mirroring your laugh with his own.

'We don't open for another half an hour but come in. I'll make you a coffee and you can just hang out while I set everything up.' You began to unlock the door and then added, 'If that's okay?'

He nodded his reply and waited patiently as you opened the door and flicked on the lights. He followed you in and you watched as his eyes scanned over the room with what could have been mistaken for affection.

'I really like it here.' He confirmed as he felt your eyes on him. 'It's....peaceful.'

'Thanks.' You took off your coat and placed it over the hooks that hung just behind the counter. 'Do you want me to put yours here too?'
