imagine: Legolas's daughter meeting Aragorn's son

You are a young elfling 8 in human years and you are legolas's daughter and when you get sent to the school for middle earthians you meet someone very unexpected.

I look around the castle for my ada I need to get to school! I think to myself and I run into my grandfather thranduil. Grandfather where is ada? I ask and he raises an eyebrow I don't know why? He says and I sigh I have school today I say and he gasps oh alright I'll take you today he says and I smile ok and I follow him outside to the stables and he gets his elk and he helps me on him and then he gets on and we ride to school.

At school

Ok goodbye y/n grandfather says and I wave bye and run to my class my school is in rivendell so we learn outside. I run all the way to the gardens where I see my class and my teacher and I huff out of breath. I look up at my teacher sorry im late mis Elise I say shamefully and she smiles lightly its alright y/n we were just about to start she says and I smile as I sit down next to the class. Alright children today we are going to be learning about the history of rivendell she says. Soon a boy comes over to me he has dark brown hair that goes down to his shoulders he is a bit taller than me but looks around my age and he is wearing a white shirt with a waistcoat and black trousers he has a dagger strapped to his side and is wearing dark brown boots. Hi He asks and I smile hi who are you? I ask and he smiles I am Aaron he says and I smile back I'm y/n I say and he looks around this is kind of boring lets leave he says and I gasp we can't we will get into trouble I say and he shakes his head don't worry we will stay in rivendell no one will even notice our absence he says and I sigh fine then follow him to another garden away from the class and we climb a tree and I hang upside down on a branch. Are you a human? I ask and he nods I am but im part of the Dunedain so I will live longer than a normal human he says and I nod oh well I am an elf I say and he nods I know I can tell by your ears he says chuckling. I shrug then sit up right on the branch where are you from? He asks. I'm from mirkwood I say and he raises an eyebrow really? Why do you go to school here then? He asks and I smile because my ada said it would be better for me I say and he nods.

After a while of talking he suddenly tags me and jumps out the tree and I laugh and jump down after him and we run about playing tag for ages. I catch up to him and tag him after he tags me we stop and lie on the grass. Are you bored? He asks and I nod yea I am what can we do? I say and he shrugs and then i get an idea. I know follow me i say and we stand up and I drag him into a library. We sneak into the back and sit on the carpeted floor. So what now? He asks and i smile. Now we read I say handing him the closest book to me and he groans why? And I chuckle because reading is fun. He gives in and starts reading the book I gave him and then i stand up and look for a book that I can read. I stop at the adventure section and I scan over the book titles until one catches my eye. The cover is royal blue and has the title braveheart and I smile to myself as I take it out of the shelf and make my way back to Aaron and sit back down on the floor and start reading.

Later

Y/n can we please go? I'm bored I want to get out of here he says and I nod alright fine quit your moaning I say and I stand up and we walk out the library and school isn't over yet we still have a few hours left. Ok so what do you want to do now? I ask him and he shrugs I don't know I just wanted out of there. I sigh and look around for something to do. Lets go into the forest I say and he raises an eyebrow why? I smile just come I say and drag him into rivendell forest. Ok so why are we here exactly? He asks and I smile to look at the nature I say and he sighs alright. I chuckle come on I'll show you I say and I take him over to a tree and the leaves have grown down the way. Look on the leaf there's a caterpillar I say and he looks where? I don't see anything he says and I sigh look closer and he does oh I see it now he says and I smile ok come with me I say and I take him over to a big rock and we sit on it and watch the forest river. Do you see the river? I ask and he nods well yea its right there he says and I smile then drag him off the rock and over to the river. Look frogs! I say and kneel down next to them and so does Aaron. He smiles I like these guys he says and laugh I thaught you might I say and it soon turns dark.

We lie on the grass and look up at the stars. They are so pretty I say and he nods they are. I smile sadly as I look up my nanas up there as well as my grandmother I say and he looks at me sympathetically I'm sorry he says. Its ok my ada says that nana is up there looking down on us all he says she's in a better place now but I do miss her and when I think about her I always remember what her smile was like, her laugh and what colour her eyes were just the simple things you know? It keeps me happy just thinking about her like that also knowing that she's looking down on me it helps me sleep at night I say and he nods I understand you were close with your mother and that's what makes you strong right now he says and I nod yea but I think we should head back to class now I say and he nods oh yea then he stands and helps me up. Race you back! He says and I laugh as I chase after him all the way back to the gardens where the class are just getting back and everyone's parents are here to pick their child up including my ada and I go over to him with Aaron and see Aragorn and I smile hi ada I say and he smiles hi y/n did you have a good day? He asks and I look at Aaron who is greeting his father who happens to be Aragorn and when he looks over we smile at each other and I turn to my ada. Yea I had a really fun day I say he smiles as we head home on grandfather's elk.

Epilogue

You and Aaron go on to be best friends forever... literally since she does live forever. You spent everyday together doing random things. You were inseparable and your dads found that out the hard way, you didn't leave each others side. You were there for each other if one of you needed a shoulder to lean on, you were the light in each others darkness and you fought side by side as you would go on many dangerous adventures and quests together. You basically became brother and sister just like their dads became brothers.
