imagine you and legolas babysitting

Hi so I thaught I would have more of a fun imagine since most of the Legolas ones are kind of serious so here you go. You know you have thaught about this before.

Right now I am in the archery range but im not practicing archery. I need to work on my daggers but I'm not very good at it and I prefer not to be watched when I am failing and luckily I am alone. I hold the dagger with my right hand and bring back to my side while spinning it but I drop it. I pick it back up and try again but to no avail I drop it again. I thaught you bring us luck Eru I mumble as I pick the blade up again. I spin it in my hand, bring my arm down and drop it... again. I step back and feel a presence in the room so I turn around and see Legolas behind me. I jump and sigh how do you do that? I ask looking around. He chuckles how do I do what? I shake my head nevermind. What are you doing in here anyway? He asks. Dagger spinning I mumble. He smiles but before he could say anything a guard comes in. Prince Legolas, lady y/n king thranduil asks for your presence he says and we nod before following him out the door.

We get to the throne room and as soon as we enter I see a face on thranduil I have never seen before... fear. Legolas! Y/n! He says in a panicky voice. Ada? What's going on? Legolas says and he scrambles over to us. I then notice three little shadows following thranduil about. I gasp and run over to them and kneel down. Y/n! Don't get too close! I hear thranduil say but I ignore him. Aww hi what are your names? I ask the kids. There is one little girl and two little boys all elves. I smile they are so cute. No! They are anything but cute they are the devils children! Thranduil says. I gasp how could you say that? Fine you try taking care of them see how that works out for you he huffs before walking out. Me and Legolas look at each other. Well... that was different he says and I nod. I turn around to the kids and notice one is gone. Oh no Legolas please tell me you see three kids here I say and he looks around nope just two. I sigh we are missing a child! Alright calm down you go find him and I will stay with these two he says and I nod before walking out the room. Well this is great I don't even know his name I mumble.

Later

I come back to the throne room and see Legolas struggling with... three kids! I sigh and walk in. Y/n! Ada was right these kids are crazy one won't move from the floor, one won't stop climbing everything and one won't stop hugging me! He says and i chuckle alright we can do this. I learn their names pretty quickly and they are Ferin who is hugging Legolas, Milo who is climbing everything and Leah who is not moving from the floor. I go over to Leah and kneel down. Hi Leah what would you like to do? I ask and she smiles happily its story time! I nod and pick her up. Leggy its story time! I say and he nods ok and gets the boys to come with us. We go into their room that they are staying in and tuck them in bed.
Ok what book? I ask and Milo laughs don't read from a book make one up silly! I smile ok that sounds fun. I sit on the bed and Legolas sits at the other side. I think of a story I could tell them I have one in my mind its about Legolas but he's a smart elf so he will catch on even if I use different names. I smile when I get an idea you know what I think Legolas should start. I look at the prince and he chuckles alright has anyone heard of the prince, the guard and the orc? The kids shake their heads.

He smiles ok well this story begins in the middle of a huge battlefield in on of the biggest wars of middle earth. On top of a mountain that stood over the battle there was a prince just about to fight a big orc named bolg. I smile and chuckle silently catching on to what story he is telling. So the prince takes out his bow and shoots at the orc but it doesn't do much then bolg smashes his weapon against the ice which makes the ledge shake. The prince then takes out his sword and the two start to fight. They somehow manage to get off the snow and onto very unstable rocks and stones so again bolg smashes his weapon against the ground making the prince fall into a hole as well as the orc himself so they both fight in the hole until the rocks start to crumble underneath so using the large stones as steps the prince makes his way to the top then swings onto bolgs shoulders and stabs his sword through his head then jumps off just as the orc begins to fall into the abyss but it wasn't over. The prince heard a scream so he looks over and sees the head guard about to be killed and he reaches for an arrow but he used them all up somehow so he does the only thing he can thing of. He takes one of his white knives and throws it at the orc about to kill the head guard and above him the dwarf king is also about to be killed. So the prince takes his last white knife and throws it at the orc killing it but what the prince didn't know was he was about to be killed himself but just before the arrow pierces his chest another arrow knocks it away making it fly in another direction. The prince is surprised and looks up to see it was another one of his guards who is also his best friend who had saved him from death. Then he climbs up the mountain to meet her and they both head back down exhausted as the battle was finally over.

The children soon fall asleep so we both quietly leave the room. I smile at Legolas. Nice story leggy I say and he chuckles it was the first one that came to mind. I think your father overreacted just a bit I say and he chuckles again when does he ever not overreact? I shrug good point.
