I woke up in the morning still furious about Orchid having to send me away. Those witches didn't give a good vibe. 'If they hurt Orchid I'm gonna hurt them.' I nodded in agreement with Midnight on giving those witches a taste of werewolf power.

With that I forced myself out of bed and went into autopilot on doing my morning routine. But I'd get to see Orchid after school. 'Don't forget we are to show her our wolf form.' I nodded as I went downstairs to get myself some breakfast.

Downstairs Dalton was quietly eating a bagel. He looked up and offered a small smile before returning to his bagel. 'If Trace bothers us again you tell him.' 'Yeah, whatever.' Midnight grinned at that. I did all my work last night but I was more focused on would be happening after school.

I'd get to go to Orchid's. "The ceremony of announcing the next leaders is coming up soon." Dalton said as I brought some waffles over to sit next to him. The ceremony of leaders was what it was called. A big pack gathering as the next four leaders were announced and swore loyalty. After that they could take in their roles whenever wanted once it had been taken up with the alpha. They also announce each other's mates and have them swear loyalty. It involved cutting your wrist or hand and dripping the water into an ancient wooden bowl full of water.

Dalton would be part of it. 'He will be announced as the next alpha. Mom doesn't think anyone one is gonna surpass him.' 'Well he is quite strong and the darkest of us.' Dalton and I were the same shade except I had a white stripe and was an omega and couldn't rule the pack.

If I was an alpha despite being an omega I'd become a huge target. But I was fine with not being alpha. Dalton would make a nice alpha and dad had trained him some to prepare and after this he'd begin the real training.

And no he wasn't being sent off to some alpha camp to learn the ways of the alpha. 'Dad will teach him how to fight better. How to do all the boring alpha stuff too.' 'I know. Everyone thinks being an alpha is all fun and games but dad has a lot to do including truces, war and alliances.'

Then my dad had his steel industry business he had to run. My dad left around either six or seven and came home around five or six. He then had his few days off for his work and the days an alpha wasn't necessary. And if he wanted time to himself Kadan's dad stepped up.

So I was quite happy I wasn't the alpha. "You gonna announce that Isabella is your mate?" I asked. "Not yet. She isn't quite ready. Then there are the rogues we have to look out for." Dalton said his face a light red.

"You haven't even told her now have you?" I asked. "It's hard. But Alana said she'd invite her to the ceremony but I don't think she is ready to delve that deep into the werewolf world. I prefer her to stay at her house with the two cops and stay safe." Dalton said.

I nodded. 'Well Dalton obviously needs to hurry up with his and Isabella's relationship or at least let her in on some more things then just rogues.' 'I know it'll help him in the end. I mean he already did save her from some psycho groups of rogues along with Orchid.'

It felt like forever since that day but it wasn't. Maybe a few weeks. "But mom but extra safety lengths for that." Dalton said with a sigh as Nico and Rory came downstairs fully dressed and ready to eat. "Is it bad? Did she hire you a babysitter?" I asked with a smirk.

"She hired hunters to guard the ceremony." Dalton said. Oh. Well, then. That was pleasant. There already was a hunter here who took out a few rogues. Had been here for maybe a month now arrived a week before Isabella had did and was a very familiar hunter.
