"I really don't get this ceremony." I told Dalton as he laced up his vans. "It's a coming of age and announcing who the next leaders are. Also an oath with the pack." Dalton said. "But your not gonna be the alpha after it." I told him.

"But it's announcing who will be the next leaders will be." Dalton said. 'You know for someone who doesn't like arguing in essays you sure can argue with Dalton.' I ignored Midnight. "Still your not gonna be alpha until you are ready to take on the position and dad give it up." I told him.

"I know. Dad is gonna let me have time to live my life before taking on the position of an alpha." Dalton said. I nodded. Well that made sense at least. Dalton waiting to take on the alpha position before becoming a full-time alpha.

Dalton fixed his shirt before putting on his material jacket. "Isabella gonna be there?" I asked. "No she had something to do." Dalton said as he fixed his outfit. Today was the ceremony. I knew who would be announced. The gamma and delta didn't have a heir so our brothers were taking it.

Rory was gonna be the gamma and Nico the delta. It would of been Rodney as a leader but he passed it up. 'He is dominant but doesn't have the desire to lead a pack.' 'I know he said that to dad when he was offered the position.' Midnight nodded.

Dalton fixed his coat before getting up. I dressed up too for this occasion. A light red button up shirt with black pants and my hoodie. I was not getting in some fancy jacket. They got this out of me which was the best they were gonna get.

I hated wearing anything fancy. A few of my brothers came down. In total counting me there was eight of us soon to be nine. Yeah my mom wanted a nice amount of kids. This house luckily always had lots of bedrooms well spare rooms turned into bedrooms from the old days.

This house belonged to my father. He updated the look to a more modern one but it still had it's old touch. This house was centuries old. Dating back to our founding pack leader Daniel I believe his name is. Him and his mate made this and it's been updated over the years.

It started off as a three bedroom house and evolved into a ten bedroom house. That gave everyone a bedroom. 'But we share a bathroom with Dalton. Our bedrooms are right on the other side of the bathroom.' 'Better than sharing the bathroom on the second floor.'

This house had three bathroom. One on the first floor and two on the second floor. Our mom came down. She was wearing a white dress that went past her ankles with the sleeves made of lace as she went to go get her cashmere coat. She was followed by our father.

Soon everyone was getting ready for the ceremony. I went into the kitchen and took a cookie from the cookie box. Mom made sugar cookies last night so there was tons to eat. After taking one I followed Dalton out the door as we got to load up into three cars the most.

I got the passenger seat of Dalton's Lamborghini. Dalton pulled out of the gravel driveway first as he was closer to the road. Now we were off to the pack house for the ceremony. Least I'd be in the front as I was from alpha blood unlike the rest of them.

It took ten minutes to get to the pack house. A whole bunch of cars were outside the mansion like house. Pack house. A house for many reasons. Meetings, some rooms for families who didn't have their own houses and much more. The pack house was also surrounded my pine and oak trees.

'It looks bigger than I remember.' 'Who knows maybe they added on to it.' Midnight nodded taking that as a reasonable reason. My family walked up to the doors. The lot was full of cars for the werewolves who decided to come here. We had a nice pack.
