Witches nasty things when they didn't get their own way. 'Unless it is Orchid of course. Least I believe so. We've never seen her like that.' 'Nor will we ever as we won't piss Orchid off.' My eyes drifted back over to Isabella who ate her weird bento box that had noodles, some sort of meat and vegetables. Isabella only ate the noodles and meat and pushed aside the vegetables not seeming interested in them. Dalton kept on looking at Isabella with anger on his face. Not at her but more of what was on her.

Isabella had bruises decorating her face. One of her eyes a ring of blue and black. Alana casted Isabella a glance here and there. Isabella didn't say much about the bruises except that Orchid and her were jumped by a witch. 'Well she is a hunter. I wonder how the witches turned out.'

Yeah. At the ceremony we found out Derik and Isabella were hunters. Honestly I didn't even know how to feel about that. But it was more a shock to Dalton. After all his mate was a hunter. I mean my mate was a witch but I knew that from the start.

Isabella didn't tell Dalton. 'Isabella also doesn't know she's Dalton's mate so it's pretty fair.' 'You got a point there. She still doesn't know. I wonder when he is gonna tell her?' 'He say's it's whenever he feels comfortable to tell her.' I nodded at Midnight.

The witch jumping Isabella and Orchid wasn't a coincidence. I had no doubt that it was the witches that didn't want Orchid to have a relationship with me. To produce pureblood babies with a pureblood warlock. Well hate to break it to them but Orchid was mine. She always would be.

Not matter what her coven said to her. I would fight her coven to keep Orchid as my mate. Even if I wasn't a great fighter I'd still put my life on the line for her. It's what a mate does for each other. I smiled at that. "What happened to the witch?" Nico asked.

Finally.

No one dared to ask Isabella that. 'In fear they'd insult her of course.' Isabella wasn't that bad. She was just prickly on the outside and sweet on the inside. "You really want to know?" Isabella asked lifting up her bruised face. Nico thought about it for a moment before nodding.

"Orchid casted a freeze spell to get answers. Then reversed it. Then I shot her and she burst into ice." Isabella said with a twisted smile on her face. Dalton bit his lip casting glances at his hunter mate. A very talented hunter none less.

I turned back to my school lunch. A slice of pizza for pizza Friday. Every Friday of every school day they had pizza. But this time they got some good pizza as they changed brands. I saw the cardboard boxes so decided to get two slices of pizza. 'The lunch lady didn't even notice.'

I was a werewolf and required more food. A slice of pizza wasn't gonna satisfy me. Two barely did but it was better than one. Usually my mom sent food with us but I forgot to ask her so here I was eating school lunch.

Isabella went back to her bento box. Across from her was Derik who glanced around here and there on guard. Yeah more happened then Isabella was letting out. It was obvious Derik was involved but simply wasn't telling anyone. That was my conclusion.

'Along with Orchid bribed them to keep quiet around us so we wouldn't go there.' 'Well didn't work as I am visiting her right after school ends no matter what.' I had to text my mom I'd be a little late. Although she was getting used to it by now.

I tended to visit Orchid quite often now. It had become a routine to go visit her but this time it was a different reason to be visiting her. To make sure she was safe and alright and I didn't have to beat up some witches. With that I returned to my lunch waiting for school to end.
