He helped me up but my knees were shaky so I fell forwards into him.

He catched me and his arms wrapped around me.

"easy there- ...hm...you're a skinny one aren't you?" I stayed silent, not knowing how to respond,  I just looked down to my feet.

I felt a bit dizzy, I hadn't eaten in at least 4 days and the only things I had eaten before that was the small animals I had catched and other small things that I had found outside.

My eyes widened when he picked me of the ground.

My body trembled and twitched from cold and fear.

I wasn't strong enough to get out of his grip so I didn't even try.

He took me on his back and continued walking.

"Don't worry, I just want to help you" he calmly told me.

He's deep voice was calming and soothing .

I knew it's stupid to trust strangers but something about him made him seem trustworthy.

I wondered where he was going...and why he decided to just pick up someone from the street like that.

His touch was warm and it made me feel like I was burning. I relaxed my body, laying my head on his shoulder as I closed my eyes and eventually fell asleep.

I softly groaned when I woke up.

The air was warm and the ground was soft...just like a mattress...wait-.

I quickly sat up and looked around...where am I !?

I was inside of someone else's house...did the man from before take me here?

was he still here?-

I started to hear steps coming closer in my direction.

I panicked, quickly scanned the room and then throwed myself under the bed, hiding.
