Chapter 4 part 10

He looked at me with threatened eyes.

Me getting scared must've made him scared too, so I took a deep breath to calm down.

"Shh- Jessie- it's alright... We don't have to" My back was still pressed against the wall.

I've never been so scared.

I closed my eyes, starting to panic as he crawled closer.

I screamed out of fear and then I couldn't breath.

I started puking up blood but blood only.

The thick warm liquid flooded out of me.

From my nose, from my mouth and from my throat.

I put my hands up and tried to push on it but... it wasn't there.

I died, everything went black and then I was gone.

It only took 5 seconds. He had bit out my throat and swallowed the chunk whole.

Jessie was screaming and hissing out inhuman sounds.

Someone opened the door and didn't have time to react before the mutated creature vomited up acid on him.

Jessie used his back legs to almost throw himself forwards.

He was a threatened and scared animal.

By the look of his face I could tell it was serious.

He took my hand and we hurried back as fast as we could.

"What happened?" I asked but I didn't get an answer.

I swallowed hard thinking; this must be really bad.

It didn't take long before we was back.

We literally ran into the building.

He ran to his office and grabbed his sword.

I felt horribly confused.

" W-Wait- what's going on??-" I quickly gave me a kiss.

" I want you to stay in my office, ok? Lock the door and promise me you don't leave before i'm back-".

 He scared me a little, why couldn't he just tell me? ."... I promise" Of course.

He gave me a nod and ran away towards the sound of animal like screeching.

I went inside his office, locked the door behind me and sat down on his chair.

I felt worried over him.

I grabbed at my skirt a little bit and layed down my chin on his desk, sighing.

I could feel the sour burning smell stinging in my nose right when we got in.

Never am I allowed to have a day off.

I told him to stay in my office, I didn't want him to get hurt no matter what.

I was gonna stop that thing.

Margaret did something horrible without permission and now we all have to suffer for her mistake.

I felt angry but also so sad about all of this.

I ran through the corridors before I saw the slime trail... then I heard the hissing.

I quickly turned and saw it.

It was already hurt, but it just made it even more dangerous...  " ...disgusting-" .

It bubbled a bit and threw up towards me.

I quickly dodged it.

Where was everybody?

It continued and I slowly moved closer to it.

I raised my sword and cut it's back.

It screamed but I was surprised by how fast it moved.

It jumped towards me and I was thrown backwards.

I quickly got up at moved away from it.

Thankfully I didn't hurt myself.

He was way stronger than I thought, he was pretty big too.

I raised my sword to attack him again but he started throwing himself to the korridor I had came from.

I was gonna run after but then Seri came out from one of the office doors.

"I'm glad you could come so soon. We have a lot of hurt clansmen and our Doctor is gone-" She panted slightly, she had her sword with her and was ready to fight the creature by my side.

The situation was worse than I had thought.

I gave her a nod and ran after the creature and she followed.

We opened the doors carefully.

In some were corpses and in others were terrified workers, hiding in fear of their lives. Everything was caos.

It bursted through walls and door and destroyed everything it could.

It was yelling and screaming so it was easy to locate even without its tracks.

Other clansmen came to help so Seri and the others hurried to take the injured and alive to safety as best they could.
All of a sudden I heard a big bang.

I quickly looked up to find where it had came from.

I froze when I saw the big hole in the door to my office.

My heart almost stopped for a second but I quickly started running towards my office.
