[ A Time Skip to the month of October. ]
{Third Person POV}

Garroth and Laurance have been getting closer and closer throughout the year, and signs of slight romantic affections have shown plenty of times. Now arrives the month of October, the month of the spooky time of Halloween. A costume party was being held at Aphmau's house, and everyone in the street happens to be attending.

"So, what are you gonna dress up as?" Laurance yelled from the couch. "I'm dressed up as my closest and bestest friend!" Garroth replied, sneakily taking a bit of Laurance's clothing from his closet. "What a coincidence! I'm doing the same!" Laurance chuckled lightly. Zane went out of his room with Aph, who made Zane look a bit like Pinkie Cake by adding a pink, yellow and blue hair extension in his hair. She also facepainted him by adding two balloons on his face, arching over his left eye.

Garroth giggled childishly and hugged Zane. "You look great!" He said. Zane smiled just a tadbit under his mask. "Thanks." He replied to him nicely. "So, meet you guys at the party?" Aph asked. "Yup. See you there!" They replied back. Aph went to the door and left with a smile.

Garroth and Laurance went to Aphmau's party at different times, with Laurance being first. "And...Done!" Garroth said, finishing up his hair. He wore Laurance's red and white shirt, jeans and black shoes. He also had an extra costume in case it was spilled on, and it was the one with a gray sweater and a green scarf, with jeans and green shoes as well. "Okay, I'm all set!" He said to himself, walking out the door with a backpack on his shoulder. He started to walk towards Aphmau's house, a calm smile upon his face. He looked up at the beautiful, twinkling stars in the night sky, amazed by how many he can see now. "I never noticed it." He told himself, approaching the door.

Garroth knocked on the door and waited for an answer, and then Aphmau bursted the door open with a cheeky grin. "Garroth! Just in time, come on! It's time to show off our costumes to everyone!" She dragged him into the house and locked the door shut. Aphmau went back to the top of the stairs and looked at her script, "Garroth is next." She said to herself quietly.

After Travis showed off his costume, Aphmau cleared her throat and began to speak once again. "Garroth as his best friend!" She said, giggling lightly. Garroth was pushed into the middle of the room as he was drinking some punch. He smiled and waved shyly before turning around and taking his place beside the punch bowl again. Laurance then approached the man, a smirk on his face. "So, you dressed up as me?" He asked to him. Garroth replied with a simple nod, looking shy. "That's actually good news! I dressed up as you!" He said, showing his blue and pink striped shirt, a blue jacket, jeans and black shoes.

Garroth giggled a bit, "Are those mine?" He asked. Laurance blushed lightly and nodded. "Yeah, I got them while you were still sleeping." He replied truthfully. "That's okay!" Garroth said back to him, giving Laurance a warm embrace. "I appreciate it." He added. Laurance heartbeat rate got a bit faster, blood rushing to his face. "Good to know." Laurance replied.

They went outside of the venue to go on a trip to the Haunted House nearby. Aphmau was already being carried on Aaron's back, and Garroth was hugging Laurance tightly. "Laurance, I don't wanna go in anymore." He said. "Come on, scaredy cat. Remember that nothing was real and they are just people." Garroth nodded quickly before entering the walkthrough of fear. As soon as he had entered, bats flew in front of him, making him squeak. "They are just bats, Garroth. They don't harm." Laurance said, trying to reassure his best bud. Garroth sighed and walked through a maze with Laurance, not realizing he is holding his hand tightly. Laurance was smiling lightly, flashlight in his hand, and a red hue on his cheeks. "I see the exit!" Laurance yelled. As soon as he had said these words, people dressed as monsters chased them in a fast pace. "LAURANCE, RUN!!" Garroth yelled, pushing him towards the end of the maze hall, and accidentally pushing him onto the floor in an awkward position. This reminded him of the time he did the same thing, except with Aphmau. It had been a while since that happened.

Garroth chuckled nervously. "S..sorry." He said with an awkward laugh. Laurance chuckled as well and decided to, crap it, kiss him on the forehead. Garroth rolls over Laurance and falls onto the floor, his eyes lightened up with happiness and helplessness. "Let's go back to the others. They must be waiting." Laurance got up, helped his bud up and carefully dragged him along to the end.

"Hey Garroth! Laurance! How was the experience?" Katelyn asked. "I..it was great!" Garroth said with a soft blush, making Laurance do so as well. "Y..yeah, really nice." Laur added.
